AMD Venice Release (On-Sale Locations)

I would like to make a post here asking anyone who see's a Venice on sale (go on sale tomorrow [4th]) to please post the links. Or anyone who knows of a place that is allowing pre-orders to please post.

I would like to get one as soon as possible because I obviously >>>>>>>>> do not currently have any processor and I am on some crap PcChips mobo with a rubbish 1000mhz AMD lol. Help me! Please!

I think we will be waiting until june at least. You know how long it takes to get top range equipment where we live. It's hard enougth for people to find winchesters in stock at the moment.

But dont let this thread die , becuase as soon as someone finds a batch we need to pounce on it.

Should, AMD won't be charging more for them I believe, though their might be a bit of an enthusiast feeding frenzy that could drive prices up a bit. But the 3000+ I linked to was only $150, I believe.

 

damn..now aint it sad..i just bought me self an AMD64 4000+ ...which will be raped soo sOOn... ;(

 

Well, you could always sell it... though keep in mind the extra overclocking headroom won't be more then 200-300 MHz. Recent chips seem to do around 2.7 GHz, which isn't bad at all. Even 3.0 GHz is only around +10%, no biggie.
