I have that 3-4 sec freeze in CS:S and when it comes up from freeze.. all dead body's will jump up (like they just died) and all my weapons will flick on right??! Only driver that works in CS:S is 71.22 (MSI), but it gives me blue screens in XP I have Windows XP Pro with integrated sp2 I have tried 71.84 (offical), 71.84 (guru3d), XG 76.41, DNA 7590a and reinstalled Windows Any help?
hey i get the same error man, i wonder why it does this and i wonder why we are the only 2 people that have complained about it i had 71.24's and it was working fine, and then i upgraded to 76.41 and thats when i started to get the stuttering... i wonder if the new 76.44's do the same thing..
Overheating maybe... those drivers are more efficient but make card a bit more heat than before... i'm currently waiting for my new heatsink... I wait for a Zalman. I think it should help a bit.
I don't think thats overheating... caz my temp is just fine.. I'll go down to 71.24 then... and wait :| But maybe these a problem with that DirectX 9.0c what comes with WinXP Pro SP2?
xgodxicex, did u find a solution for that problem? I'm still stuck with it maybe there's some uncompatible with audigy2 zs? Damn I don't get it
well its wierd, i duno if steam is doing some updates or what, but i have 71.89 installed, and the first time i installed and played i was having some problems, but now, i just tried it because i saw your post, and so far so good..... no more stutter.... other things that i tried that contributed to this was defragmented my hard drive, so try that also
