evga sure you have ultras man and not flashed xfx gt's ? I have been wondering for quite a wile why you have not clocked them (knowing you are an avid overclocker) dw is killing you dude with same gear softer mem timings and genuine ultras, why are you wasting your time with all the different cpu's p4ee 3200 winny 3500 newy just get a 55 and do it dude!

This is an easy 1 it depends on the bench mark 05 does nothing for higher fsb eg I run 2880 with multi of 12x240 then I run 320x9 no different but if i run 03 the higher fsb which gives me more mem bw I get a big increase with 03 and aqua. The best way to get 05 honking is to run the tightest timings you can with the highest total clock i.e 2880 or 2900 <--my rig but the biggest gain will be with the vid card's mem and core. Good in some ways it doesn’t take all the system into account but bad is others as i wish it did like 01.

To me 01 and 03 and aqua i like but not really to interested in 05 for the reason mentioned above but remember what setting you use in 03 may not work in 05. With your 66gt sli set up the only setting I will give out is rendering frames ahead default is 3 make it 20 and tighten them timings up use riva to force performance clocking
    . ;)

    Hey Guys,
I was curious about what is needed for an official 3DMark 05 score, or an offical score in any benchmark but since this the official 3DMark 05 I'll stick to that. Alot of us, including myself change driver settings when I benchmark or game to improve performance. This included disabling V-Sync, Setting Image Quality to High-Performance, Increasing Core/Memory frequencies, etc... Well what should be allowed for official scores and what should not be allowed for official scores? Or am I just being an idiot and should not worry about it? I only ask because some members say that certain drivers don't count because tey disable stuff, etc.. Anyway does any one have any idea's on the subject? Just curious.

So long as you stick to normal "known" driver releases, either nvidia beta's or modified drivers from the modified drivers forum, its all considered fine. There are cheat drivers, tho' i've never seen them myself. If you really want to benchmark as accurate as possible then you have to use Futuremarks approved drivers which are 66.93's?? Whichever they are, they are old and useless. Set your driver settings to performance, tweak your PC, and OC as far as you can without artifacts or anything else. Successfully pass 3D Mark 05 and upload your score, post it here and you should of done everything fine. But whether or not everyone will believe your score is still another thing. :)

[EDIT] few things to add, stick to default 3dmark05 settings obviously. Dont change resolution, but if ur uploading to ORB we'll see what res u used anyway. People accept ORB comparisons over screenshots of your scores.

For me, settings allways at default..i will not put AA and AF for
    a 3dmark 05---( pehraps a little 2000 ?) Its more simple for control
your system have allways same settings...and i don' t use a pro
    version of 03-05 3dmark.

    In game...allways at max...16x AF...It' s only the stuff i want when
i buy new system: or i stay with a Geforce 4.

Thanks Phrozin, put the rendering frame in 20?

Nice score....I have see you have a 2700.. good OC too...
I had before a 3000+ and the OC was easy, but nice OC with a 2700+

One question: For udate score in Futuremark we need register,
but this is only working with the complete version...?
