That looks pretty cool, but it doesn't show off any of the gameplay really. I'm gonna wait till you guys buy it so I can here whether it's any good or not. BF:V made me a huge skeptic.

It is from gameplay, just edited from different perspectives in spectator mode.

Well, I guess it was fairly decent, but it has some steep requirements, and it's buggy (esp when it first came out). I mean, I have to play on 1024x768 on med detail to get the thing to run right. Now, granted my cpu and ram are weak, but I should be able to do better than that on a year old game.

That, and I guess I just couldn't get into it. Don't get me wrong though, I want BF2 to be the be all, end all of online fps'. I just want someone to tell me that it is before I buy it this time.

Edit: Anyone know what the player limit is gonna be? I think I heard somewhere that it would support up to 100 people in a game. That would be intense...if it runs smoothly.

it was orginally 100 but was stripped down to 64 (which lags bad enough on 42 anyway)

    I agree,

BFV was not only a poorly made/programmed product, it also did'nt carry on the gameplay of BF. I found it regressive if anything, like taking a step back instead of a step forward.

I just have a few things to say.
First EA is pulling the same crap marketing hype, it did with the last and a few other titles.... Oh there I say it C&C generals, NFS underground, BF:V, I'm just sick and tired of how a perfectly great looking game is hyped and rushed out the door to make money for EA, sound familiar ;) microsoft.

So please don't get your hopes up, and waste your hard earned money.

Heh, no plane can fly that low and not crash. But the engine looks quite capable. Let's see what's needed to fuel that engine though...

From what I hear the dev team for BF2 is different from BF:V so it sounds to me like EA has learned from their mistakes.

It's not rushed out the door. This has been in development since the original BF was done, which means they've been working on it for 3 years. Also, BFV was made by a completely different team, BF2 is being made by the original team.
