uh, well I think I have to test again ;)

Maybe I did sth wrong. Now I only must reinstall 75.90, had another driver to play riddick.... But that only took a day ;(

Will reinstall the 75.90 now, because for its performance and Open GL 2.0 I love it. Only the IQ could be better....

    LOL

    yes even I won`t ;)

But I have another prob, after I reinstalled the 75.90 I have the odd problrm of very long loading times when setting any option. whenever I close a menu concerning GFX it takes very long to close, sometime even the refresh makes failures and you see teh control panel on desktop until F5 is pressed.

    Anybody an idea why?

Is anyone using these drivers & playing EQ II ?? Is anyone still using these drivers even with the so called "temp" bug?

Been playing EQII with these. They have as good performance as any driver so far. However, I have been having crashes in EQII lately, and I can't yet decide if it is these drivers or something the patched in the game. I am rolling back to 71.84s tonight to see if my crashes stop.

I got NO problems with these drivers!
The temperature of my PNY Verto 6800 GT is still on the same level as before.

I would say, that this is the best performence driver set for the GeForce 6 Series.

    I testet these drivers on:

    Tribes: Vengeance
    Joint Operations: Thyphoon rising/Escalation
    Half-Life 1, 2 + CS (no yellow water)
    Battlefield 1942 (Forgotten Hope mod)
    Operation Flashpoint
    Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War

    -----------------------------------------

No Problems, so these drivers are DrIQL (Dr. InfernO - Quality - Labs) Certified.

PNY cards seem to be resistant to the bugs

10c isnt a heat problem.50c-60c is a heat problem.I never seen so many people having a heart attack over a measly 10c.:(

Well Im running EQ II with the 71.90's @ 60c under full load, oh well Im happy. I have tried all of the 7x.xx drivers and the 71.90 & 75.90 run EQ II very well for me, so Im begining to really care less & less about being 60c under load in EQ II. I love this copper heatsink on my card http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-122-196&depa=1

    :D :D

    @HLH
Hi I reinstalled the system again, and the strange refresh bug with my control panel and the long loading time are gone. But still I don't know what cause them.

So surely not the driver, as I use it again now and everything is all right.

But I had this problem in the past as well but everytime only got rid of it by reinstalling... But I know that can't be the real thing. I also had it with different driver versions, but not always the same. But it normally happened after installing many different driver sets. Though I used driver cleaner the past times this also seems not to be the solution....

Right now I don't have the problem but:

Anybody encountered a similar problem? :help:

and yes it is enough to have a heartattack over, wow has one and locks up within a few mins of playing everytime i try a 7x.xx with the higher temp

and thats even with an arctic cooler installed, dear god... how hi would the increase be with a stock cooler ;(
