Im giving my 9600se to my borther so he can play his games on his pc but first i decided to overclock it to see how fast it will go. I got it to 363/240 and theres little artifacts when running tests but not too much. It can now play HL2 at high settings and 1024x768 resolution with average of 40 fps or higher. My question is that will the card burn out with a little artifacts, (unnoticabe in games, only shows up on atitool artifact tesing) or is it safe to run at that speed
clock it down a tad to where no artifacts are there and just make sure the card isn't overheating. but remember that anytime you oc a card or component, you are "killing" it faster.
