I've just started trying the final beta of WoW, And it runs just fine on my system... until I die and end up in "spirit mode".
Then my system all but freezes up.
Does anyone have any great ideas about settings I can change to make this work better?

Did you try to disable pixel shaders?

    I havent tried that yet..
I tried downloading new drivers from Nvidia... but now nothing works..
In Diablo II there's no ground, and if I try to run NFSU, my computer just reboots.
    Crappy ()#/%)=!!!

Hmm.. u sure? It runs completely smooth exept in "spirit mode"..
Weird that they've made the game so much heavier to run in this mode...

You can turn off the death effect in the video options....speeds things up on my laptop, as it lags when its turned on after death...
