    I have been trying to get the extra pipes and vertex shaders on my 6800NU but i seem to have a problem it only shows up 3pipes disabled and 5 vertex shaders and when you try to unlock them were it should say 16x1,6vp it says 12x1,5vp what does this mean does it mean it cant be done???

    BTW i am trying it out on one video card at a time so no SLI is enabled.

    If you mean you have a pcie geforce 6800NU, then it can't be done, your card does not have any pipes to unlock since it physically only has 12+5. It is not a nv40 but a nv41.

    I don't think any 6800nu can have any pipe enabled.Unless it sliped thru which is possible.From what I have learned the 4 extra pipes is a quad pipe array.Meaning it acts as one 4 pipe array.If the quad worked it would not be a 6800nu but a gt or ultra.I am not saying it is not always dead some slip thru but almost all are dead.Have you done any testing on the vertex shaders?Meaning have you done benchmarks with shaders enabled and dead.

    I took this from nv4_disp.inf:
    NVIDIA_NV41.DEV_00C0.1 = "NVIDIA NV41
    NVIDIA_NV41.DEV_00C1.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6800 "
    NVIDIA_NV41.DEV_00C2.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6800 LE
    NVIDIA_NV41.DEV_00CE.1 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 1400
    NVIDIA_NV41.DEV_00C8.1 = "Geforce FX Go6800
    NVIDIA_NV41.DEV_00CC.1 = "Quadro FX Go1400

    From GainWard Eurepean side I found interesting info about 6800LE AGP with 12pipe GPU-achitechtur and Ultra-Cooling, does this mean it comes with NV41 and HIS bridge-chip?

    · OpenGL 1.5 Support
    · 12-pipe GPU

    6800LE info form GianWard Europe

    What about that 6800GO, I read about some of them would be equiped with 450MHz core. And if I can understand 6800GO uses same core as new 6800LE, and so if there could be enabled 12pixelpipelines and OCd to 400+MHz, that would outperform 300MHz NV40 with 16pipes?

    I was thinking this becouse my GainWard is going to go warranty. (It has that f***ing blackscreen). And if I wait some months I could get new 6800LE with NV41, right? And that would be better than my current?
