Wow!!! that's amazing!!!
Especially, I can make my geforce 6800GT become QuadroFX4000.
And I just feel but I think it seems to work almost perfect to work as a QuadroFX4000 than before Geforce QuadMod.

Unwinder, would the 15.3 open Gainwards 6800LE`s "locked" pipes and vertex unites?

 

teemuq, can you read? If the pipes en vertex units work, offcourse they can be unlocked by RC15.3.

teemuq: I have a gainward 6800 LE and got 16p6v working with the command line i got from Unwinder (temporary test only)
15.3 will unlock those pipes and shaders permanently.
Cross your fingers and hope theyre without defects

I modded my gainward 6800LE 12x1,6. When i put 16x1,6 in mother nature test there is strange white dots on tortoises back. So the 16x is broken? Is there anyway to fix it? New drivers??

 

That are artifacts. The pipelines might be damaged then.

 

Mod the bios to increase the voltage to 1.3v, if the card still produces glitches at stock speeds then you are out of luck.

 

I got an 6800le from Gainward. First I tried to unlock the pipelines with RivaTuner v15.2. That didn't work... After reading the thread of the cmd line I suceeded in unlocking the pipelines.... 16x1,6...I tried to benchmark with 3dmark05 but there were white dots appearing (same as teemuq i guess). But everytime i reboot the unlocking is gone and i have 8x1,4...that sucks. What can I do? Wait for RivaTuner v15.3? Or try to flash a new bios (perhaps from an ultra card?).

 

You can try it. But i would flash the card only if the pipelines are 100% working, like mines.

I flash my card now to a GeForce 6800 Ultra.

 

Hello everyone, Hello unwinder, i just wrote a really long christmas ramble after reading your discussion about the new release candidate encapsulating the 6800 series inside the quadro range, very clever stuff really; I read all ten pages of that thread to find that the project may no longer be pursued because of "certain people"
