Sorry to sound n00b, but I haven't a clue how to just take a snapshot of the desktop. But the worst offenders are white text on dark background - for instance the standard Windows title bars. The lettering looks "thin" in places.

With Riva Tuner 15.2 and Coolbits I got an extra vertex shader open, but not the set of pipes (caused artifacting). Just letting it detect optimal I got 352/753 for clock speeds. It's plenty fast. Can't argue with the deal for 2 bills.

push print screen (next to scroll lock) and open up windows paint and paste it in. If you have a better image editor that will work too.

I am a bit of a n00b, think that NV5 thing will allow me to get some more OCing in or is beyond 400/801 just overkill?

It will keep your temps about 10c cooler @ full load, but it will depend on your ram and core voltage as well for overclocking higher.

Well...Lets just say it will be a hell of a lot better than what you have now:cool:

Yea it is a good deal. I'm playing HL2 and CS:S on this card and it works great. The only problems i had when i've been in some outside zones (maps) with lots of water and lots of textures.... i had some ocasional stuttering there... but i've also been running the game at all settings maxed out.

Works great so far and i plan on keeping it.
