I want a lite version with none of the extra junk introduced in the 2020 version of the driver.... I just need a driver with the ability to tweak the voltage, that's all I do with the "Software" side of the driver.
"Shut-up all overly messages" is missing as option, as it is missing "more compact gui" No, they will never implement that damn API meant as virtual machine for NVIDIA uArchs, radeon drivers already have their intermediate language for GCN/RDNA ISA. ROCm is meant for HPC scenarios only.
That is in "cog wheel"(settings)> General> Preferences> In Game Overlay. Disable that and bye bye overlays messages.
This disable completely the Overlay, sidebar included. I simply wanna disable the pop-up messages when switch from desktop/windowed to fullscreen (borderless or exclusive).
Even though I have no problems with fans on my card I voted for Fan Improvements because I am sick of reading how many problems people have with it
One of the problems with it is that, unlike MSI Afterburner, the "curve" is not a an actual curve but steps. So, say from 1000 rpm to 2000rpm is instant instead of being progressive. So, the speed changes are abrupt. Specially with blower cards, it's annoying from low blast to full blast. It's jarring.
Customizable Radeon Software Install shouldn't even be a 'feature idea'. That's kind of an insult. Every time I install a new driver, I wonder why I cannot hear sound. Then I remember. AMD HD audio device took over...
