I've read that the person who fixed Dark Souls has also modded Metal Gear to allow higher resolutions but won't release it (he want the devs to take responsibility).

 

i understand that , the game is not worth it after all

For some reason I cant upload my RadeonPro shots. They upload all white. So I have to manually edit each RP screenshot. Afterburner doesnt capture Sweetfx. Some are just vanilla shots.

afterburner never captures sweetfx work..u will need to use the SweetFX keys to make some great screens..

normaly its teh Print screen, but to be shure u better go into teh sweetFX settings txt and look at the bottom somewhere what the keys are..

The screens will have teh sweetFX effect in it and wil be way better in quality..

I use use f12 or print screen for sweetfx screens usually. But they put the screenshots in game directory. Thats why I dont like to use them. Can if bet set to go to a specific folder regardless of game using sweetfx screen capture?

 

sorry, not yet possible. maybe in teh future with more development of sweetfx, but right now, pics are where the exe is..

No matter what I do, I cant never get Doom3 to run properly on my PC. And especially with mods. And Now I actually have the best I can possibly have ATM

An Nvidia clip for this made it to my YouTube front page. Totally forgot it had been added so wanted to check it out.

Pretty underwhelming really. Barely visible, let alone better. Performance drops about 10fps as well.

I'd take the effect over not having it, but it needs to be used properly I guess. The 'fur' when moving often looks like liquid. Like a cheap effect you'd see added to water in a game to make it look 'real' lol.

 

Wow, that is an utter joke. This industry is/has become to obsessed with the way games look, rather than the way they play. This is why im not upgrading anytime soon. No need to when this is where all my fps is going.

 

Yeah very disappointing, but to be fair to devs who actually use our hardware to make games look good, the COD team just did this to bring some attention to an ancient looking game.
