[RUMOUR] AMD Radeon R9 390X Arrives In 1H 2015

Back OT, so around Q2 2015 for 390x?


They need to start releasing proper next-gen stuff already, my now old 780GTx still didnt break a sweat, I dont count those crappy on purpose crippling effects like SuperSampling or absurd DOF, blur fx, crappy softshadows, HBAO, GI, with current games, they all still look like ****


I wanna see real next-gen U4E, Luminous, SnowDrop engine and a like used in games. Common end 2015 still seems so far away... -_-

 

Wanna new HW too, but as far as crappy effect go I do not include in those HBAO as having them does not pose big performance impact, but improve on feeling of space.
I've been even forcing that via RadeonPro. Those others... Well, they bring graphics closer to reality as much as sea animals enjoy flames.

 

overdone DOF, blur, soft shadows, extra hbao are nothing special.. Its still a .... underneath

 

Pretty much every TWIMTBP title.

 

exactly, that's why I'm so desperate to see proper next-gen games already, been waiting for this since 2008 lol, 1 more year to go ;D

 

Sweet, i will get 4GB 970 and sleep well at night for next 18 months then

 

I will upgrade my card when I can get 50% more power with 50% less power ;o or same wattage but 100% faster.

And anyone with 3-4 gb ram is going to be just fine ffs.
