Using unofficial modes in AB causes clocks to lock at current speeds. So meh.

By Disable Full Screen Optimizations make Freesync work again. so far only test one game but going to see if other games work by Disable Full Screen Optimizations. if so Microsoft broke Freesync in the OS & not AMD drivers.

Once again... guys try to read before blaming AMD. MSI AB unofficial mode is NOT supported for ReLive drivers

I had to update to this as Creator's update confllicted with 17.2.1. A reinstall might have fixed it, but I thought I might as well get the newest one. Seeing how people call this incompatible with the 390, I wonder if that was a wise choice.

flashed my 480 to 580 and got the new drivers, 13.3k graphics score instead of 14.5k with normal bios and 17.2.1(both at 1370/2150)

Use Polaris Bios Editor to check both memory timings, and power limit differences. WattTool is also useful to check in the end if a bios applies a voltage offset on top of VID, as the 480 Nitro+ does.

580 bios vram timings dont look right to me lmao, program must be looking in wrong place

found a version that seems to show timings properly, numbers are higher so im guessing its looser

Sorry for the wrong tip, didn't expect the tool to be incompatible. Some 480s come with similar loser timings showing BBB(...) on the 2000 strap, while others are in between with 999(...) in there. My MSI is also 777(...) @2000.

    Hello.

I always had problem with freesync on World Of Tanks. Sometimes working and sometimes not. I always use vsync but in game fps counter the fps goes +1 of my monitors max frame rate (75hz monitor).

I fix it by let the vsync on and from crimson frame rate target add max fps 73. Now freesync is working anytime with any driver i use.

As long the game is in the range of the freesync 48-75 the freesync is working very good. When it goes out of it, 47 or 76 it's stop working for the rest of the game until relaunch it.

    Hope it helps.

    Monitor - aoc g2260vwq6
    Gpu - Saaphire Nitro r7 360 2gb
OS - Winodws 10 64bit with all latest updates

    P.S Sorry for my English

Well, AMD or Microsoft still sucks at dx12 stability.

I can't enjoy my Deus Ex Mankind Deluxe Edition because of dxgmms2.sys GSOD

I can't be more happy. I hope DX12 could die, long live, smooth and stable DX11

Fan Speed Detection it is what don't work.
Many softwares can't read my fan speed with wattman.
Fortunaly Overdrive is back and fan speed is back again.
