Play on your PC vs a person on a 360 online...

Wow!!! After watching the Xbox 360 Press Conference at E3, I'm thinking "Why did I even buy an Xbox 360?"
If you have also watched the E3 conference you will know that when Windows Vista comes out, Microsoft is going to comeout with what they call Live Anywhere... This will enable you to have say Halo 3 on your 360 and Halo 3 on your PC.. say your friend is watching a movie on his computer and you want to play some Halo 3 with him on your xbox 360. you get on live and send him an invite.. a screen pops up on his computer telling him you want to play, he accepts, halo 3 loads up on his computer and ur xbox 360 and you guys begin to game it up, controller vs keyboard and mouse!!!!! FINALLY!!!! us PC gamers can show that the keyboard/mouse is finally superior for a fact!!!
Lets not forget they are also putting your mobile phone into all of this!! Your mobile phone can have live anywhere as well and receive messages and what not, not sure about all the gaming on the phone though heh

I cannot wait for this!! Windows Vista is gonna rock!

 

That is going to be bad ass, if this is true.. aaha us PC gamers are going to beat the **** out of consoles lol hah that would be so freakin fun..

 

yah, the mouse for aiming will totally own them, holy ****, they won't even be able to compete.

yeah, no chance for xbox dudes... it is physically impossible to beat a mouse/keyboard with a gamepad... lol, can't wait

 

yea i had a lot of arguments with console newbs about FPS and I cant wait to finally rape them lol

go to gamespot and download the Xbox press conference, its an hour long.. fast forward to the last 10 minutes of it and they actually show it all working, its sweet!!

they had fortza motorsports make a quick lil thing for a demo.. they had the xbox 360 guy send a car to a friends mobile phone.. the mobile phone sends it to his pc and on the pc he edits the cars performance and give it a new paintjob and details and all of that then sends it back to the 360 guy for him to race with, was pretty cool

 

Yeah! Finally some people I "might" be able to beat! (I mean, I really SUCK at multiplayer shooters)

 

haha yeah, id love to see the leaderboards and i hope it shows a little PC icon next to em lol read em and weap console newbs!

 

all true key boards sre far superior but cant yo get key boards for the 360?

 

no you cant, not as of now. im sure you will be able to, but its the mouse that gives the accuracy in your shooting, not the keyboard.

What does the future hold? One giant Microsoft network? Will I be able to tell my toaster to make me some orange juice from my ironing board that I'm controlling from my voice recognition toiletseat?

Final Fantasy XI was played on same servers by PC and PS2 users. That was well over a year ago.
Yeah I know its not a a FPS but idea's the same, sure they could have done the same with FPS games if they wanted.

And don't get me wrong KeyB and Mouse rule ) Pad players won't stand a chance.

 

The 360 accepts a standard USB keyboard (filled out xbox live forms using the one from my pc) and so I imagine it would take a USB mouse too, guess we just need game developers to start adding compatibility.

 

Kick console users asses? its unfair like if u would own n00b but it will be hard to console players.... i do enythink to make console gamers feel bad >=)

 

I'm assuming you have to own a copy of Halo 3 first though to be able to play with the console boys...considering that Halo 2 still hasn't come out for the PC how long will it take to get Halo 3?

bill gates said he doesnt think sony or nintendo can accomplish something like this.. i kind of believe him, microsoft has the upperhand here

 

Well the first game that suppose to have this feature is a game called ShadowRun. If you have a 360 go to the market place and look it up under E3. The game is suppose to come out later this year/ early next year so Live maybe a XP thing as well as a Vista thing.

 

I'm just going to buy Vista and Halo 3 for the pure satisfaction of making 12 year olds running crying to mummy 'cos big bad Advis keeps kicking the S**T out of 'em.

 

Because of this statement and the rants of 360 users getting their @$$ handed to them in HALO 3 Multiplayer, Microsoft will be making a "keyboard/ mouse" control unit for the 360 later this year.

I have a feeling this may happen......
