Nvidia GeForce 457.51 WHQL driver download & discussion

We speculate that game ready driver for the game will be released prior to the game's official launch.

 

Astyanax is Sora(GeForce forums). I hope the new driver fixes the crap performance in Warzone.

 

New driver won't fix a broken game, and it IS the game.

Even Radeons are affected.

 

It's not the game, people report poor performance with RTX 30 series while their old 10xx/20xx runs the game way better.

 

You do realize a game can run poorly because of engine behavior on one architecture vs another? right?

Also the people saying their 30x0 runs poorly were the same people blaming nvidia for their 20 series performing poorly - right after a game patch dropped (and no nvidia driver in sight).


You can improve 30 series performance by making changes to the GAMES config files, there are also people who have fixed their issues with their 30 series by doing this or that to their system, the games shaders or driver shaders.

Don't expect drivers to perform miracles with the cod engine is all im saying, its been issue prone from release.

 

Is there Thursday come out new driver have resizable bar capability support?

 

So steamvr still bugged, anyone knows the last driver that not had the vr stuttering problem?

 

I would like to know as well. I should have a HP Reverb G2 VR Headset coming in pretty soon. Hopefully there is a driver that supports the 3XXX Series that doesn't stutter in Steam VR.

There's a couple of reports from people with older 5700 GPUs that "Large Memory Range" is enabled with the proper BIOS and graphics drivers. So hopefully Nvidia will enable the feature for those of us on Turing.

Your right, there is a lot more development needed for the RTX 30 series drivers...

GUYS CMON, the performance has very little to do with it being one of the most complex launch titles ever without driver support being launched to reviewers etc etc as windows and nvidia are trying to implement RBAR support and new GPU architecture that no one has etc.

GAME is broken and ruined, our 3080s are gimped with only 10gb. Just throw it in the river and go for a hike. Muh 2020 sucks.

 

Come on Nvidia, drop the driver for CP2077 already <.<

 

I'm using the Standard drivers, not the DCH ones, so I have a question. Why is the icon from the Control Panel pixelated in the taskbar since the 450 drivers branch? Why they haven't fixed this after all this time?
Also, will CP Game Ready driver be from 460 branch?

Are you using default CP or the one downloaded from Microsoft Store? Also which driver? I am on latest 457.
Also my screen resolution is 1920x1080, in any case.

 

Regular WHQL downloaded from guru3d, and yes the latest.(1440p)

 

Yes, resolution scaling might be a part of it I guess. Can you downscale to 1080p and check if you have resolution consistency if not a problem?
Also what Windows version are you on?
