Tested Witcher 2 DX9 game ,in one mission(can't remember the name) where you have huge battle in Vergen with many NPC fighting ,before I had CPU bottleneck now it is always 60fps with 1 or 2 frame drop ,very impressive . I lowered my resolution to 720p to see how CPU is doing and could't believe Also Vergens bar had some issues with CPU performance ,now it's gone .

AC4 Black Flag finally doesnt choke up during the boarding fights and all other GFX intensive areas..... Breath of new life in my GTX 660 TI.... will get back to you all with crysis 3

 

Improvements? Just the same stuttery performance for me.

 

That's weird, mine is very smooth with 60fps. But before this driver I got improvement after playing borderless windowed mode (Vsync enabled ingame but forced off from CPL) and it is still set to that. Maybe that's it?

 

Do these drivers do anything for Diablo III? Specifically the single digit FPS at Rakkis Crossing.

Ye but i noticed it, even if i play on a single card, it's like a whole other game now for me!

So were 28 pages in and not a single person wondered if Mantle was never released, would Nvidia have ever put any effort into these performance improvements? I'm going to say no. If you look at the list of game improvements, Nvidia could have fixed those way before now, but chose not to do so.

Can anybody confirm msi afterburner recording with nvidia codec crashes the games?

You guys ought to try it on the PhysX games. I found that this driver gave me a noticeable boost in minimum FPS in The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. Not sure if that's due to the PhysX or the DX11, but I can imagine PhysX as causing a CPU limitation due to many one threaded operations.

 

Some nice improvements in Far Cry 3 for me, AC4 still seems to suck quite a bit with physx enabled.

It's all free, although admittedly you do need a bit of tinkering at start.
There's a GUI for it in Control Panel when you install it, but my guide is all about manually automating RAM disk creation, however weird that may sound.

 

Decided to install.... My 3DMark score went down and Unigine Heaven crashes half way though.

Same here. I'm on my 4th day with Windows 8.1. It's not the OS's age, but could the OS.

 

A few posters on the GeForce forums said that disabling Hyper-V in "Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features" and or in your BIOS fixed the "code 43" error.

 

Ok for fun i turned off my CPU OC and used no GPU OC. Benchmarked @1680x1050 ( i usually use 5040x1050 but wanted to see cpu bound performance difference ).

Theyre pretty impressive, have to try with 3 screens and OC'd CPU and GPU.

i play survarium game and its directx11 am running win7 64 pro and i dont notice any performance gain
