    While that comparison is kinds disorientating due to the position of the camera changing, there is next to no increase in visual quality for Ultra.

    I think there must be some kind of problem with that comparison, eg maybe they have an early copy and they can select ultra textures while not actually having the texture pack downloaded...because they are identical.

    I'm expecting for this to be explained. It looks like they just did same thing like high texture , but they didn't compress and released raw texture pack which looks exactly the same.

    Thought so too.
    It takes a while for the image to change from High to Ultra, after that it should change instantly as you click high - Ultra,

    ^^ maybe it was just for vegetation, as those leaves have a higher rez texture than that ork. ololo

    In the default config file the texture pack is called "; High Mip Archives" so it's possible they only enhance the mip-map resolution meaning more distant objects. :)

    EDIT: Mip-map meaning that after a certain distance from the player (or camera) texture resolution is halved and then after a certain distance from that it's halved again, creates a smoother transition between LOD levels. :)

    This however means the close-up textures already being a full resolution will not see any additional benefit but the distant terrain will be of higher quality since the mip-map resolution is increased.
    (Strange way but it's how I see it though it could be incorrect, would explain the heavy VRAM usage though if they render objects at full texture resolution from a very far distance with this installed.)

    Has anyone tried injecting SMAA yet? I tried and am seeing no difference.

    I know, but i doubt that purly because of the Ultra setting, if its just uncompressed textures, with no visual increase, then its not quite the same.

    And.... Google translate isnt work for me.
