I'll skim the review at 6:30am EST (US) if it's posted by then.

So, any other cards getting released this week???

@Hilbert, would it be possible to fire up the Folding@Home GPU client to get a PPD estimate for GTX680? Just need to know which project and the estimated PPD to get an idea of it's Folding performance.

Blimey, they all seem to be reference coolers, even the Gigabyte!

First batch usually is reference design...nothing unusual...

Are 4 GB cards expected today as well or will they all just be reference 2 GB models do you think?

@WhiteLightning - I'm guessing the card will be £400-£425 here in the UK, especially with the VAT rate being 20%, but a sub-£400 would be much sweeter. My GTX 580 cost £380 so I'd prefer the GTX 680 to cost that and no more. Doubt it will though as the U.K. tends to be very expensive compared with the U.S. and other countries. C'mon, NVIDIA, surprise me!

So can anyone give me an ETA so I can sink my teeth into Hard Reset, I keep exiting at every checkpoint to see if the review is up...

well i didnt buy my 580gtx at launch, bought it in march 2011 for 400 euro (on sale). thats 100 euro cheaper then at launch.
no way im gonna pay more than that, even more since it seems a mid range card. its overpriced imo

There must be 20 million people trying to read TweakTown's review because the site is slow for me, even failing to respond at times. lol

Yep, the sites very slow, timing out a lot. This is like trying to access the entertainment sites when Michael Jackson died.

From the pages I've seen with benchmarks for Lost Planet 2, Mafia II and 3DMark11, the GTX 680 looks like a beast being 25-33% faster than the GTX 580 at 1920x1200 and pretty much on a par with AMD's HD 6990 which is faster than their HD 7970. Very impressive indeed. :D

Then I got to Aliens vs. Predator and Metro 2033... not so good there, though still faster than the GTX 580...

So, you actually did try to access entertainment sites when Michael Jackson died? :p

Odd choice of games in that TweakTown review... no Skyrim, no Call of Duty, no Batman: Arkham Asylum (a recent DX11 game) and no PhysX comparisons, surely of interest to NVIDIA card owners? The GTX 680 looks like a great card but that review was a little disappointing for its choice of games tested.

Tweaktowns reviews shows it beats the 7970 in everything except it's on par with Metro and Alien vs Predator. Everything else though is by a decent margin. They didn't post anything about overclocking it, will have to wait for Hilbert.

I think most of the games on TT review are TWIMTBP games. So I wouldnt look at it as an authoritative review. Must wait for Hilberts and other good site reviews.

It'd s little bit quiter, a little bit cooler, it's cheaper, and in several games it floggs the 7970 by around 30%.

Just look at JC2 and Lost Planet 2. Pretty impressive.

I imagine with a few drivers it will be a clean sweep.
