You are kinda right because the stores are updating there stock and prices.

I've found the 290x for 500€, where do you get it for less? Please pm me.

I'm glad you guys enjoying my humor.. I love spreading a few smiles\laughs here and there. :D

I found another one.. This must be from an 290X owner judging from the red t-shirt, after getting BSOD from those bad mem OC's I been reading around. :D

Now that I've upgraded my CPU this might be the kick in the @ss I needed to upgrade my GPU. My GTX470 is getting a bit old.

Overcockers have dropped them further (links censored), big price drop thread now states, to ignore the prices posted in it, and go check the shop, as they've gone down more, so much for Nvidia not doing price drops ey, the buggers are going down like the Titanic. :D

After the price drops 780 became better price/performance high-end over R9-290x. At least untill custom cooled 290x's start to appear (unless you want to invest into watercooling which would just bring the price up too much). MSI 780 GE for £420 is just superb price (compared to older prices and competition) as it overclocks LIKE HELL. I think even stock (factory OC) it's as quick as Titan (or very close).
As for 780ti. It's like the new Titan. Big price increase for small performance increase. With shader amount being in between Titan and 780 (1 SMX difference) and just having higher clocks, it doesn't make any sense buying it over 780, especially with the new prices.

I know its listing the total EU prices/shop anyway but people could try using the EU site "http://geizhals.eu" directly as it's listing more prices/shops than the Austrian site..

    http://geizhals.eu/?cat=gra16_512&xf=653_nVIDIA~1439_GTX+780&sort=p

And actually some shops are even cheaper once you go to their website.

E.g: ComputerUniverse(the one I'm looking since the price cut) is listing the Palit 780 Jetstream and Super Jetstream about 4 euros less in their website than the price at Geizhals.eu. Just pointing it out. ;)

$499 for the 780 is nice. $699 for the Ti is ridiculous. But I suppose there are folks who will pay this price. I don't care for these people.

Just an indication nVidia are confident about 780Ti performance...AIB 290X or even 290s with big coolers could change that. We're just going to have to wait and see. Watching is free.

Why will NV not drop the price of GTX Titan? xD (I have knew!)

If GTX 480 will be died then I will get GTX Titan despite 1k euros. :)

Probably has a much higher cost price than the 780.

Quite liking the pricing now, custom cooled factory overclocked 780's for less than the 290x.

Ok but GTX 780 non-Ti/Ti can't run very fast double precision (DP). :)

I know it will sell but that's the sad part, it shouldn't. We're looking at 700$ for flagship 750$ for classified/lightenings. It's outrageous to me but i seem to be in the minority.

I'm disappointed in the 780 price drop but i was overly optimistic about it to begin with 550$ for a classy is nice, as is 499$ for a 780. I disagree about the Ti though.

Sure was should've been 800$ at the most lower if you consider the frame pacing issues at the time. Which are still being worked out. I'm not in the market for dual GPU cards though either. But then again we're not seeing dual GK110 for 1000$. We've now seen single GK110 for 1000$, 700$, 650$, and finally 550$.

My point is the 780Ti should be 650$ at most as it was supposed to take the 780's spot correct? Or is this just all whining to you guys because high prices just don't seem to bother anyone but me?

I realize I probably come of as an AMD fanboy and it's not the case at all. Quite the contrary honestly as i've only owned two AMD cards (4890/7970) the rest has been Nvidia all the way back to the AGP FX5500. I just dislike how Nvidia dictates the market and noone really cares but i guess that's business eh?

You are not in the minority there is a reason I have 670's. There is never good price/performance in the high end cards.

I think we're to expect the 780Ti to beat Titan or at least I am. Most are expecting 2880Cuda cores and full GK110. The 290x has pretty much filled that gap between the 780 and Titan it wouldn't make sense to release something slower than Titan for 700$ IMO.
