Maxwell GPUs have a static resource scheduler, so you will not see "async compute" boost on Maxwell GPUs.

People speaks about DOOM, not DOOM 3.

I am curious to know how you can play DOOM (DOOM 4 2016 ?) with SLI ?
This game has no SLI support

Probably running the game in OpenGL, which ive read does use both GPU's but there is no performance gain from doing it.

Vulkan on the other hand no no support at all.

  5. Driver size download?

Sorry for the stupid question, but someone could tell me the exact download size of this hotfix?

    Thanks

Does this driver still report no support for 16-bit shader minimum precision on Pascal GPUs on the last (stable) version of Windows 10?

    It's 430 MB (451 125 600 bytes) for 384.80-desktop-notebook-win10-64bit-international.hf.exe.

Still doesn't fix the constant stuttering in Infinite Warfare, just like the previous driver. Back to 382.53 again, I guess.

It does just force alter frame rendering 2.
Both gpu,s fully use the useage.

I just installed these and now my desktop feels really sluggish, it's like when i'm running in 60hz but it says i'm at 144hz in nv control panel, think i'm gonna rollback and wait for the next one, something's not right.

    even on desktop idle?

cause i still using 375.70 and perfered maximum on desktop idle goes in to idle clock speeds, please dont tell me they broke this again. cause i definitely wont upgrade driver if that is broke again

size increase quite bit since the 375.70, more bloat for the win!

Yeah, this workaround works for Vulkan renderer which runs fine on any power mode really but not for OpenGL where Max Performance is pretty much required for no stuttering.

This is a rather widespread bug, and you'd think that they would've included its fix into the hotfix as well.

Pascal GPUs never exposed anything but FP32 in DirectX/OpenGL/Vulkan. There's precisely zero reason to considering that FP32 is about 64 times faster than native FP16 on them.

Oh my god those previous drivers couldn't have come at a worse time. I built a new PC, installed those, and my Vive was reprojecting so I spent about 5 hours trying to fix it before getting frustrated and going to bed.

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

  17. Thanks to everyone

Thanks to everyone for the answer at my question about horfix size :)
    3MB less than 384.76Whql driver :3eyes:

    Guys

With this Hotfix and latest WHQL one i have an strange issue

When windows will boot the windows logo get strange, a very fast green lane appears like if it`s an OC memory issue ion the VGA, after this everything is ok

In the 382.53 (one before this) this not happens and the windows logo goes normal when booting

Anyone already saw or had this?

    Thanks

EDIT : Found a guy with same issue... let me know if someone is having this also:

The driver isnt loaded when the Windows logo is displaying, perhaps it has another influence.
Check to see if the same happens on a cold boot.
