Why the huge jump in driver version number? 344 to 347? :) What did we miss in between?.

For some reason RGB mode (which these drivers and 344.75 default when installed)

The colors looks washed out, dull, and have terrible color range. Even if I set it to 0-255 or 16-235.

I set it to YCbCr444 and INSTANTLY the colors jump out the screen, its MUCH MUCH more vibrant than RGB mode.

Maybe this is because I am using a 22" 1080p LED TV as my monitor and not an actual PC monitor. But YCbCr444 gives me amazing colors.

It was the same on my AMD HD7970 I literally JUST replaced with my GTX970.

In CCC on AMD it defaulted to YCbCr444 and colors were great for some reason Nvidia's drivers I don't think detect my TV properly and sets it to RGB by default which just looks horrid.

I'd say it's the TV buddy. Generally, when you input RGB, and more so when you enable a specific "game" or "PC" mode on your TV it'll disable various image processing technologies to help with response/lag time. One of the things it (should) disable(s) is the colour control as RGB, by definition, sets it's own colour intensity. It should also disable any dynamic modes that can be enabled when using anything other then RGB. If you're used to using "Dynamic" (too cartoony for me) then switching it off will mean instant "bland" colours.

    I suspect it's that but I'm only guessing :)

So this doesn't happen on Windows 8.1 and seems to be related to 64-bit only version of Vista/7, interesting.

So far so good with the Full RGB thing, didn't even need to reboot for it to take effect

Yeah it's because of DX 11.1 not being supported on 7.

Tell me more about this, I got the same setup as you do (gfx and screen). Do you mean 3D mode like with the glasses?

Yet the 32-Bit version of Vista/7 doesn't have the issue, at least according to the .PDF
    That wasn't fixed. :)

I don't think the game is even supported on 32bit OS.

Probably not, i went to Origin to check Requirements, can't find it on my game through game details.

But i've noticed there's a new free dlc for Multiplayer.

Kinda bored of the game with lack of mod support, been playing modded Fallout 3 :nerd: and XIII-2

I wonder if anything has been done about terrible performance with Kepler cards in new games. Something is very wrong when I see 280X approaching 780 performance levels. 290 is about 20% faster than 780 in some games nowadays. Is this intentional sabotage from Nvidia, to force us to upgrade to Maxwell?
