A 1200W PSU is, by no means, a trivial PSU, and obviously doesn't suffer as much as the more mainstream ones, in the 600-800W range.

You might say "but if you're saving money on PSU you're doing it wrong!", and you would be partially right.

BUT, here's a though for you: I can make a pretty good PC with a quality 600W PSU and spend a lot less or build a PC with a 1200W PSU that is maybe 15% faster for double the price. Which one would you pick?

I certainly don't have a horse on this race though, since I really don't care about what other people are doing and I just buy what is enough for my needs, so feel free to disagree or call me spoiled, I don't care.

So leaks were fake. It is even colder than 9900k according to you. OK. :D

The leak was running AIDA64 FPU stress test and Furmark at the same time. Those were extreme conditions. I said it then, these will happily game with temps in their 60s.

OK. It is both colder and faster than 9900K. I got it, loud and clear. ;) I have no reason to deny it..

Nice, are those the Corsair LPX 4600 sticks? Man I'd love to see some benches. NDA doesn't lift until tomorrow so make sure you keep us posted.

I'm happy to hear everything is smooth in the end, if you got the right equipment, it is one of the same, even better.

Enjoy your new strong and smooth toy @nizzen !

The i5-10600kf seems the most interesting cpu for a gaming rig to run high fps, easily 5,1-5.3ghz oc, 6C/12T should be plenty for the next 2-3 years, prolly a little lower temp due too no internal igp and with great memory speeds at 4k+ and all that at a nice cheap price! ty AMD !
    Let the reviews come :)
