Hi, I've ran the CTR tool on my 3900x however the OC failed from exceeding temperature (which I am surprised why it happened) and I am not sure what to do from here as it stopped the whole process

    **CTR LOG END**

As seen in step #3, it went from the average 71, to 78 and then to 90.8 C (temp limit was 88) and the OC stopped with a 'CCX1 failure'. I understood that once it finds some instability it will run an CineBench automatically? Or are there some steps I need to do.
I haven't changed the default settings from what the software gave me (AVX Light, 360s cycle, 150 CCX delta, reference voltage 1250mV, reference freq 4125 MHz)

    Extra info:
    • Mobo: Asus ROG Strix X570E (Cpu Load Line was set to level 3, as well as DOCP was enabled to get 3200Mhz)
    • Cooler: Noctua NHD15 (Higher temps than what I expected from this cooler to be honest)
    • Corsair RM850

So after reading a bit, I've ran the diagnostic (which took like 30 min) and got the following result:

    ** DIAG **
    19:59:16: Step# 49. Diagnostic VID: 943 mV
    19:59:16: Stress test started...
    20:00:23: Stress test stopped.
    20:00:23: Step# 50. Diagnostic VID: 937 mV
    20:00:23: Stress test started...
    Thread# 25 fall down, usage 94.1%
    20:00:48: Stress test stopped.
    20:00:50: Step# 51. Diagnostic VID: 943 mV

    Diagnostic results
    Max temperature: 78.7°
    Energy efficient: 4.29
    AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor
    Your CPU is PLATINUM SAMPLE
    Recomended values for Overclocking:
    Reference frequency: 4550 MHz
    Reference voltage: 1250 mV
    Recomended values for Undervolt:
    Reference frequency: 4400 MHz
    Reference voltage: 1150 mV

    ** DIAG END **

I seriously doubt I have a platinum sample. But anyways I tried running the overclock values into the software. Instant BSOD.
Confused, I tried the undervolt profile. It managed to yield the following:

    ** UNDERVOLT **

    Step# 7
    20:20:10: CCX1 (156): 4475 MHz, 1150 mV OC=
    20:20:10: CCX2 (145): 4500 MHz, 1150 mV OC+
    20:20:10: CCX3 (134): 4375 MHz, 1150 mV OC=
    20:20:10: CCX4 (122): 4350 MHz, 1150 mV OC=
    20:20:10: Stress test #1 started...
    20:20:15: CPU Temperature: 70.1°
    20:21:17: Stress test stopped.
    20:21:18: Stress test #2 started...
    20:21:23: CPU Temperature: 69.8°
    20:22:24: Stress test stopped.
    20:22:25: Stress test #3 started...
    20:22:30: CPU Temperature: 70.5°
    20:23:31: Stress test stopped.

    Step# 8
    20:23:32: CCX1 (156): 4475 MHz, 1144 mV OC=
    20:23:32: CCX2 (145): 4500 MHz, 1144 mV OC+
    20:23:32: CCX3 (134): 4375 MHz, 1144 mV OC=
    20:23:32: CCX4 (122): 4350 MHz, 1144 mV OC=
    20:23:32: Stress test #1 started...
    20:23:37: CPU Temperature: 68.9°
    20:24:39: Stress test stopped.
    20:24:40: Stress test #2 started...
    20:24:45: CPU Temperature: 68.2°
    20:25:47: Stress test stopped.
    20:25:47: Stress test #3 started...
    20:25:52: CPU Temperature: 69.3°
    20:26:54: Stress test stopped.

Calculation of penalties for the final profile:
    20:26:55: CCX1 (156): 4450 MHz, 1156 mV OC=
    20:26:55: CCX2 (145): 4475 MHz, 1156 mV OC=
    20:26:55: CCX3 (134): 4350 MHz, 1156 mV OC=
    20:26:55: CCX4 (122): 4325 MHz, 1156 mV OC=
    Cinebench 20 started
    Cinebench stopped! 01/22/2021 20:27:05
    Temperature limit reached!88.5° OC terminated!
Cinebench 20 finished with result: 6180
    Voltage: 1.156 V PPT: 50.2 W Temperature: 48.4°

    ** UNDERVOLT END**

While I was satisfied with these results, there was a problem with the fact that I can't even run cinebench as it reaches my 88 deg limit. Its not normal for it to hit 88 right? Whenever I try running cinebench it just closes after a second into the benchmark due to the temp. I have a large tower cooler so I am a bit shocked that it is that bad, considering it is not an AIO but the temps during the process were fine

don't waste your time. This software does not work for everyone, I already tweeted to 1usmus but he just ignores the issues I've been telling him about

I'm using CTR 1.1 Beta 7 and when I do the diagnosis on my R5 3600 the PC restarts.
When testing 1,288 in the middle of that stress test the PC restarts. The mother, an Asus X570 TUF PLUS, has everything on automatic, the RAM at 2133 Mhz and the LLC at level 3 and I tested it at level 4 and neither.
What I don't understand is because after putting Auto OC Tuner in the bios, it puts 3950 Mhz in the processor and 1.1V of vcore VID and it works ...
    Solution? :(
I also don't understand the voltage difference between Vcore VID Effective and Vcore VID normal. Before opening the CTR the Hwinfo (the effective VID) did not show me that parameter

Hello guys, I’ve a problem with my ctr, after I do the diagnostic, I configure the reference mhz and V for undervoolting, then when I press start, ctr crash while in step 6-7 that when my LLC was in lvl 3 cuz my mobo is msi, then I set my LLC to lvl 4 as I reed over here but ctr still crash but now in step 10, all in my pc is updated and I’ve all the newest programs (cb20 latest version, ctr latest version, amd ryzen master latest version)

Hi, quick question, if I may:

Should I enable PBO before and/or after applying the CTR overclock? Or are those completely separate things? If so, should CTR tweak + PBO applied afterwards be more efficient than stock + PBO?

    Thanks!

There's no way to resize the program's window, and on a 4K display, the information inside of it doesn't fit the screen, making it impossible to use.

Already tried all three available options for DPI scaling override. Any other ideas?

Hello, I've checked "autoload profile with os" but it never works. Each time I reboot, CTR is not starting and I have to run it manually. After each reboot the "autoload profile with os" is unchecked. Any idea?

Ok... so I had CTR crash(black screen reboot) because I set voltage/clocks to high and now when I try to run the program it acts like it wants to load then I get nothing. checked task manger and not showing in there either. I deleted program and opened a new one from download still nothing? Any ideas?
