    2640M transistors? That's ~500M more than Cypress, and since they have almost the same number of stream processors and ROPs why so much more transistors? I doubt they are there for only the increased number of TMUs and the improved tessellator!

    catch this, amd is gonna make you say "it's HUGE" when you get the results...

    after gtx2xx VS hd5xxx battle, is the second time Nvidia is gonna lose, again...

    Those slides are AMD PR, still going to take Chispy's word over anything I've seen as of yet.

    At least until we see some actual reviews.

    If there is any truth to those slides, it's hardly surprising that the 6970 is beating the 480 by 15% ~7 months later, it's pretty much the same deal as the 480 beating the 5870 by 20% ~6 months after it's release.

    Yes, the 5xxx beat the 2xx, the competitions previous gen cards. As I'm sure the 69xx will beat the 4xx as well. ;)

    im not taking anyone for granted.. im gonna see with my own eyes on 15th.


    i don't believe him or anybody anymore, especially because he thought there isn't such thing as a slow-speed board 6970 ES and the way he said with all that confidence:p
