At 1680x1050 8XAA 16XAF with the highest settings the game ran smooth at 90-100FPS.

Although I don't care for the game itself, the lighting makes everything blurry and the camera when running is all over the place..

I suppose they're trying to give the effect of a cameraman following you..or something..

PS: I'm using Catalyst 10.5 (the ones that are posted on this site).

I find the Sharpen graphics option a bit puzzling. It's on by default but if you turn it off the game looks like a 720p console game crudely upscaled to 1920x1200 on my PC. I really don't see why that option exists at all as surely no-one would be daft enough to make their game look worst?

At least it has more graphics options than an average console port :p

Just played it. No performance problems at all, although, i haven't checked the FPS.
The camera seems fine to me. But the game was boring.
I will wait till the final version and see if i can borrow a friends steam account to play the final.

By now, i didn't liked the gameplay. Graphics are cool (uses the same engine as Tomb Rider Underworld) and nice sound.

@ MerolaC,Drazio and mangaroo - how is that possible we all have similar systems and you are getting stable FPS !!! mine are from 20-40FPS on average at 1680x1050 with AA and AF turned off everything else turned on

    in a nutshell:
Game ran fine, 1080p on my rig, full detail and stuff.
Looks nice but kinda like the cameraman isnt sure how to hold a camera or how to clean the lens.
    VERY repetitive and boring.
For some reason kane (or is it lynch?) is sea sick. Keeps weaving back and forth.

First time i every uninstalled the DEMO before finishing it, it was that bad.

    Although, i used AAx8 and AFx16

Perhaps drivers? I am (until 10.7 hotfix) using 10.5a

Managed to even record with fraps while playing:

Game ran relatively smooth for me. 10.7 w/ AA and AF on 1680x1050

I wonder since this is Glacier Engine.. It uses havok physics what would it do, if the demo game EXE name would be renamed to same as from first Kane and Lynch game as that is the last game on same engine.

OR perhaps 2009 made EXE from game called 'Mini-Ninjas' 'ninja.exe' would the ATI profiles recognize that.

Bizarre game, never seen anything like it before, but runs perfect for me.

shot a cop in the face with a 12 gauge and his head went all pixilated.....

The game runs fine on one GPU but it runs worse on multi-GPUs under CrossFireX that's why. I get 60 fps all the time with one HD 5870 but with two in CrossFireX it dips to 40 fps at times and just doesn't feel as smooth.

Ran terrible for me, vertical bands popping up across the screen randomly.

The vertical bands are intentional by the way; they're the lighting columns that are meant to add to sense that you're watching the game through the lens of a cheap steadicam. It's a matter of personal taste really but I find the effect less annoying on the PC than on the console versions, probably because of the higher resolution, sharper-looking visuals.

FPS are ok for me, but what is up with the camera when you run, it gives me motion sickness, and whats up with the pixelation in dark areas, anyone having that problem??

Lol.. I personally really liked the effects.. I loved the confusion the blur brings when you run! Strains the eye a bit...they should switch to fp when running and have something infront to focus on! Mirrors edge button :D

Crossfire sucks that's why you get bad fps (most likely). Sorry but that's true.
Single GPU cards for the win :D
I just finished this short demo on my HD4870 at 1680x1050, all max, 4xAA with 4xAF (did not try higher) and it ran smooth as butter.
Just another game in many that let's me save my money and not buy a new graphics card :D

Just played the demo, it hovered around 90-110fps (10.7 cats), I didn't see it dip below 90. Maximum settings @ 1920x1200. I didn't like the camera when you run because it's so shakey it makes me feel sick.
