anyone have this HSF on their X2 CPU?

i dont but i will give a reccomendation... the amd stock hsf is better than that... because that isnt made for x2's and x2's have special x2 and fx hsf's

no you are thinking of AM2 socket x2's
dual core and opteron HSF are good quality heatpipe heatsinks though

but in answer to the OP's question...that heatsink will work however the stock amd hsf will perform better

I have that same HS/F! great fan and I have no doubts nor worries about heat with this bad boy!
when i had my dual core which i miss btw...

my X2 came with a standard alu block, no heatpipes

i think the heatpipe blocks are high end X2, Fx and opteron exclusive

that said, stock sink does OK for normal operation, its a tad hot now, but what do you want with 30+ degs ambient temp
