This game has bombed so bad and I feel for the fans who bought it. There's so many basic things that have been completely messed up here, stuff that shouldn't have been in a release version, hell not even in a beta or alpha. Ah well, at least we got ourselves a dumpster fire of epic proportions to eyeball at. Can't believe this is from the studio that made Kotor 1... or does anything even remain of that studio anymore. I hope someone will manage to dig out some answers at some point and sheds a bit of light as to what has been going on behind the scenes to make a game fall on its face so hard.

Liking the game playing 3440 x 1440 and it looks great but there is something off putting about playing in freeplay with other people. EG: I am level 3 and only way you can play freeplay is with other ,so I go in mission ,not sure if it PVP against people or what the Frack I am doing but I have 2 level 4's and a level 25 on the same level 3 mission.Which is just strange to me and I am not a big time online player anymore. Another thing is missions are so short in freeplay , but I am sure I am missing something here because I am just starting the game and know nothing about the game. I assume there is a freeplay where you can just play all day long and wander off on your own without the need to interact with other players. Question for people who play and thanks for any reply. At any point is there a choice to play in private freeplay mode after a particular level.
Looking at your raw images, it's crazy how much DLSS degrades fine detail on textures, and at the same time manages to look oversharpened. You really are better off just using traditional upscaling...
So basically the game as it is, was mostly made after the E3 2017 reveal? That's kind of crazy..... but I guess it makes sense considering what is currently there as a "game".
Well, no surprise there. Also, if the Schreier article is correct, Anthem's development was a directionless nightmare (again, that is no surprise given what was served for premium price).
Lol... then you might aswell just run texture quality at low at the same time, cause that's the effect that DLSS has... Taken from your own screenshots : Dlss off Dlss on Look at the red dude in the middle how much texture detail is missing with dlss on... look in the bagground how low quality all the textures become... horrible. But sure, if you want your game to look super low quality, then by all means use that garbage dlss.
hmm.. you're right. It's minor but there is definitely texture loss going on. I wonder if this is the same as with Metro/Tomb Raider. I've been using DLSS for those titles but haven' t taken the time to compare those little texture details. I would rather not lose details..
I will have to try it out in Metro.. which sucks because using RTX in that game gets me down to ~60fps even with DLSS.. but the RTX is really nice here so I don't want to give that up. I might just need to deal with the texture loss in that game, as it really hasn't been noticeable at all.
