I removed telemetry with the nvslimmer tool but I still have the RAS folder and when I delete that Nvidia Control panel stops functioning so I reinstalled and left the folder, I'm not too bothered but would prefer to have telemetry disabled other than that drivers are stable for me, played VR Poker for a few hours, it uses unreal engine and no issues.

I tried 430.53 to see if it resolved my problem since it includes a fix for the high CPU usage issue, but it exhibits the same symptoms on my system as 430.39 did. As before there's no particular indication (CPU , Memory, Drive Access, etc.) of what's causing the mouse and keyboard responsiveness interruptions after the GSync monitor wakes back up. Reset back to 425.31 and everything is fine again.

you´re using nvidia container ls service in automatic? if you move to manual and delete RAS folders the control panel stop working, but if you use this in automatic will work normally

Checked Services, NV Display Container LS is set to Automatic and I didn't change it to manual first time but control panel still wouldn't start, so I don't think that's the issue.

Did you delete one or both RAS folders? Depending on how you answer, this is why your Control Panel does not work.

FYI and for anyone else, there are two folders and both need to go, else one looks for the other and errors out.

I'm not going to claim that NVidia drivers are flawless. That's an undeserved reputation, imo. But, I will say this trend of "slimmer tools", and otherwise breaking drivers out of pure paranoia, is starting to make driver threads near useless. It's half "I won't even download this without trusting some random person to delete folders for me" and the other half "things broke when I (or someone else) deleted things from the driver".
    What an odd new trend.

Then enjoy your telemetry riddled system, with Nvidia sucking what bandwidth it wants, when it wants, and stop slating those who don't want that nonsense happening on ones system ;)

Battlefield V reset NV CP(BF V profile) settings after exiting the game. Maximum pre-rendered frames = 1 + threaded optimization = on. Enter the game, exit the game..It's back on default values..

Been like that for awhile it's to stop the cartoonfield hack, you can change a few files to read only after you set your preferences and they will stick cannot remember which ones

nvidia's telemetry doesn't consume more than 1MB per month, its clearly not watching your porn habbits and selling the data to adult sites.

Maybe because you guys always turned off the telemetry, which caused numerous bugs unable to fix it. Please kindly enable it so that NVIDIA able to reduce the bugs and let them do their job.

They need the logs for God sake.

I have to agree with this. Nvidia drivers were the original reason I started visiting Guru3D way back in Geforce 3 days and I could always see what was fixed and what people were still having issues with. Now everyone's purposely breaking the software and causing more issues, I just install every new driver update and hope for the best. Guess what? I've had less issues now than when I was sticking with certain driver versions because it gave me a few extra frames in a couple games.

    Can you not?

If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.
