    Look look! We're famous! Let me check the keyloggers now :p

    The thread title looks ok to me, if you believe that a more catchy title is appropriate, please do so.

    I'm uploading the 1038, 14.6 beta, 13.9, 13.4, 15.4 dlls now. I would like to upload the 13.8, but tell me which version.

    Following the well know AMD politics they should send you an 295X2 as a gift for your time and effort solving in a part the AMD lack of support in W8.1!

    Other people get it for an AMD bug report. :)

    How do I get VSR support in Windows 10 when using DLLs?

    Problem: I want to have official, driver signed, clean Windows 10 TP installation.

    And then if need be, I'd just add particular driver DLL libraries in my game bin folder.
    Therefore having benefits of new driver within a game, but maintaining pristine Windows installation.

    My guess: Can't be done(?)
    In order to get VSR support I would first have to to install one of VBS's custom drivers with VSR support.

    Try asder00 modded driver versions.

    I can't install VBS W10 1036 no matter what i tried in W10 but asder00 W10 1036 installed perfect without any problem.

    It also includes VSR.

    1038 asder00 version is out.

    I believe that you can install any driver, try Wagnard's VSR Unlocker program, and then try using the dlls in the game folders.

    I'm too busy/lazy/preoccupied for that, but I fully support the idea of making an online *.dll database, I think it's really useful.

    I doubt my tips will be of any use for the current gen gamer, I'm still on an older card, on an older operating system, collecting older games that I still have to complete some day.

    General advice, make sure Catalysts 13.4, 13.8b2, 13.10b2 and 13.12 are available, they're important for HD69xx users playing D3D games and contain some specific title fixes that got broken again later on. I see 13.4 and 13.12 already there and I just saw 13.8b2 getting uploaded, so that's good.

    For Rage, either 14.6b, 14.7betas or 14.8, anything later breaks driver v-sync in that game for HD6950 users on Win764bit and it hasn't been fixed yet. I use the 13.1 dlls for Doom3 BFG, anything later crashes the game when trying to interface with certain systems at certain spots for HD6950 users on Win764bit. I never tried any driver later than 14.8 on Doom 3 BFG, it might have been fixed now but I doubt it.

    @Noisiv, you can try this

    ...this is my personal tweak which I apply with every driver to add 2560x1440 to 1080p, 2720x1530 to 1080p resolutions. Tho I can't tell if it works for your particular hw.

    -Install any AMD Catalyst driver
    -Restart
    -Apply provided .reg tweak
    -Restart
    -Check for new resolutions.

    Note: VSR (if present) must be unchecked. GPU up-scaling must be uncheck.

    yay ^^ ... even better
    That way I can see what's going on and revert back to "official", just by deleting reg entry.

    Where this comes from? Is this some custom stuff or just a pointer to present, but disabled VSR in Win 10?

    This must be an irony from your part, the only options we have are modded and hacked ones! :D

    I made it long time ago to match my reg names...it's a famous "ModeTimingOverrides" reg tweak.

    Btw, if your reg names are different, you can check for your particular "DAL2_DATA__2_0\Common\EDID_C41_C07F" and add "ModeTimingOverrides_DVI_Conn12546" to yours. Also, if your "DVI_Conn12546" have another numbers, just rename it to much yours...you will see it in reg file of mine...also, in your registry in here ---

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    ...it's not that hard. Just watch for matched names.

    PS. Custom resolutions stored in "ModeTimingOverrides_DVI_Conn12546" string.

    Oh I see what your reg did... you added VSR to my Intel 4600 :D
    to 0000, instead to 0001 (R9 290)

    Another try...
