I dont see any reason to dont put it in driver now that Nvidia have do it, we use downsampling since years just by use third party tools. Well need say that most games released thoses last months have dowsampling allready included in the graphics settings: BF4 had it allready, but Dragon Age too and some other etc..

Hmm, if true (this is an enormous IF), we are talking about a marginal gain over cards that will have been released five months prior, with Nvidia's next release looming on the horizon. Excitement factor near zero.

If true, I would hope this isn't their new top of the line card. Why would it need hybrid cooling for that power draw? No, that would indicate something near catastrophic for AMD.

So I'm inclined to think it's BS. Everything about this defies reason.

    released five months prior ?????

I haven seen anything that a 2yr card can't keep with , so any new gen. should be a lot faster imo

Its not..hes a fan boy and a liar ..either that or hes playing in a very low resolution, because as i showed before, even a 290x is neck-to-neck and can even can beat a 980 in some games in 2K or 4K so 2x7970 wich are nearly a 280x(just a matter of lower clocks) can and it does beat a 980 at anytime, place, year and planet even if it scaled only at 50% wich they dont.
    Like i said..fanboys...

    Mantle technology

I wonder how this games look like in a Green team card..
You speak as AMD dont bring anything new to the table as or more often then Nvidia..or that AMD dont have any patent technoloy on their own:bang:

There will never be a version of DirectX that contains manufacturer specific features.

AMD users don't miss out on PhysX....most of us just simply don't care about it. We have the option to enable CPU PhysX if we want to see it.

Or if it is still possible hybrid PhysX by adding an Nvidia card and installing the physx drivers among other steps.

If you want to go to such extents, sure. Personally, I've never seen where PhysX is worth it. Doesn't matter whether I have AMD or NVidia cards installed, I have no desire for PhysX to be enabled. "Eye-candy" doesn't impress me in a game. I'd prefer they focus more on storyline and overall game play.

Hope AMD has something better than this because Nvidia does.

This must be an hoax, hybride WC, 28/20nm 4000 sp's yeah right, maxwell TDP.
if its true this must be a dual gpu on 20 ore 28nm with more TDP.
AMD fanboy's make some good photoshop here.

WHy a dual gpu ? There's only Nvidia who try compet in professional segment with dual gpu against single gpu of AMD.. ( K80 vs W9100 ).. Because they just dont arrive to come close of the performance DP of AMD GPU's with a single card .

Why cause so much transistors and so much sp's, you never get that in a 28nm single gpu with a die size of 450 mm2 and a 512+ memory-bus, not even in a 20nm gpu.

But it can be a new evolution in graphic cards if its true, but than again, i don't believe in fairy tales

It can't be the top card, as doesn't make sense.

It wouldn't need a hybrid water cooler for a start, not when its supposedly much cooler than the 290, which is also supposedly sucking more power, and if it is 20nm, HBM, wouldn't it be more than 16% faster than the 980 ?

Lol, funny thing is I will find it very hard to believe that the new 390x will beat the new gm200. Not a chance, also the 390x will probably come with one of those pathetic hybrid aio shoddy watercoolers and STILL under-perform. They seriously need to up there game cause it seems that no matter what they have for release nvidia has a counter just waiting to drop.

Like the atom bomb.....BoooooooM. Bye bye amd for another 8 months....yawn.....zzZZzx.
