A New nVidia Geforce GPU is COMING ???!

What about right clicking in the flash banner and then click "forward" so you get this?

No it cant be the 7600, its an old banner. Because without setting your comp forward, it cleary says right above it in the large banner " New 7900 & 7600 GPUs Available now!" so why would the new banner be a....7600? BTW, its says the new nvidia GPU is coming. So it cant be a 7600 or a 7900, for they have already been released. Could be a 7700 or some weird crap like that, i mean look at the FX line, they made 5200, 5500, 5600, 5700, 5905 etc. Or how about a 32 pipline 7950? Who the hell knows, we will find out wont we.

companies should do this more often. Bring out something silently and BAM a million people passing out because theres a secret new product out.

 

Ever heard of marketing tricks, publicity stunts, spin-doctors etc. If you notice how quickly this thread has jumped to 5 pages then it is more than likely that they have done this on purpose. Certainly got everyone here talking.

I just can't see a company the size of nVidia:

a) accidentally putting up an outdated banner
b) seriously putting that up and not expecting someone to figure out how to find the info in it. It just wouldn't happen.

I just wouldn't take it at face value quite yet. That would be like reading a newspaper and not questioning the motives behind an article. Very rarely does an article in print not have somebodies political/business motives behind it these days.

 

ok. look here.
the banner's file name says 7600GS. if u rightclick+play on the banner it says 7600. there has been NO inside on any new graphics card recently besides the 7900GX2, which isnt a new GPU, just 2 of them on one board. its not quad-sli, thats not a 'new gpu' and it cant be the PPU because the damned thing says GPU. IF nvidia was trying to throw us off into thinking the 7600GS when they're realling gonna release something else, they'll be risking recieving complaints from ppl. no big company EVER wants to risk that. besides, that's like saying that nvidia's expecting all their press and all the ppl of the world who cares to hack the banner and find out. thats a really ineffective way of spreading the market trick. thus i say the ONLY plausible options are
a) its the 7600GS. the banner says 7600 and the banner name says 7600GS. plenty o' proof right there
b) its an old banner that wasnt released fast enough. the GS might just be coincidentally their way of naming files etc

Heh I bet people was going omg G80 then going aww when it was about the 7600GT and started crying when they cancel there 7900s orders hoping the info was for a better card.

Thank god for ebay, so far I sold the 7800 gtx 512 for $800.00, now I see the 7900 gtx's shortage it's already going for $600+ on ebay.

I'm guessing quad sli which is a WASTE. 800+ watt power supply to play games that can barely take advantage of 1 card.

It's going to be the 8000 gpu dubbed Armageddon it comes with 1 gig ram, 1 gig core clock 32 pipes 96 pixel processors $499. jk

It's the 7600GS but for PCIe. It has 12 pipes and uses DDR2.
