watched EP2. man if this isn't one of the best tv series ever made, i don't know what is (at least for me), as a horror movies fan i'm really impressed with the special effects and acting and even more so because it's a tv series. 10/10 hallelujah! :nerd:
Great episode. I have a feeling well see more of Michael Rooker. Edit. IMDB has cast members up to 6 episodes ...... Is that all for the series? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1520211/
I'm getting a little worried about the characters... I hope it will pick up. They all seem extremely clichéd, at least on the surface. This is exactly where so many new TV series go wrong; they create boring, hollow, stereotyped characters that no one cares about at all. It's still early though and I hope it improves as we get to know them. Character development is imperative for continued interest. This series has such an enormous potential that it would be shame if they didn't take advantage of it. Otherwise it's very good. Make-up is fantastic and it's relieving to see so much gore on TV!
Pffft, characters, zombie apocalypse and how they survive (or not) is where the meat of this stuff is.
My brother got me into this show and I loved it so far! I can't wait for the next episode! Now I want to check out the comics!
Only 6 episodes in season 1 ? I guess they thought it wasn't going to get good ratings. Well at least it wont be too long like supernatural 22 episodes per season, they know how to drag a story out.
6 x 1 hour? That's 6 hours, plus the original was like an hour and a half or so...so that's 6 and a half ours in the first season...that's like 3 Star Wars films, and this is high quality TV, so it's not cheap. Also watching Boardwalk Empire, really good.
^ Yes but still Supernatural 22 x 45min = 990min / 60min = 16.5 Hours Any case I see season 2 will have 13 Episodes, thats why I say the first season looks like a test run to see if the people like it. Thats most probably why it only has 6 episodes.
really GOOD show. no dumb characters in the first episode second episode wasn't as good as the first one, saw a few mistakes and didn't feel as epic as the first one. we'll see
I just watched the 4th episode. I think I will watch this show till the end of its run. I just wished it had better score or music to set the mood.
Yeah, that latest episode...whew, did not expect. Massacre. Mexicans pissed me off though, they moan about how the Sheriff & Co attacked them, and that's why they thought they were raiders. Your two ****ing thugs attacked first! AND kidnapped a friend of theirs! Then they have the gall to say it's the Sheriff's Fault? Then they say that the guns belong to them, despite, well, him in the Sheriff outfit, holding the bag of guns that also says "Sheriff" on it...? I mean cmon. I understand they want them, but they act so self-righteous about it, it pissed me off. They attack first, then accuse the Sheriff's gang of being thieves, jerks, ect.
I think its a good portrayl of how it will be if this scenario happened. There would be very cautious people that are aggressive to defend their property and such. I really didnt expect for the crew in the city to make it back just to camp in time. I thought they were going to come back to dead bodies everywhere, but then the show probably would have been over. **hope we arent spoiling it for others**
This series makes me think of something surviving and help each others people. There's nothing we can do for it by just running or escape from town to town.
