The Last of Us

Neogaf users have found that signing out of PSN before starting the game will stop the autosave bug, maybe try untill its patched.

 

Well... Considering the hardware I have to say I really wish NG made PC games. Man those guys/gals are DAAAAAMN good. The craft incredible stories. The 1st 10 minutes of Last Of Us hit me like to ton of bricks and I almost felt emotional. Ok I did feel emotional and that was only ten minutes in. About an hour in now and other than some expected jaggies and a little framey at times this game is in fact a masterpiece. They would really have to go out of their way to make it a bad game at this point. I imagine this game at 60fps in 1440P. My god I would cum rainbow colors !!

 

Well,17 hours into the game,75% completion,and I'M LOST FOR WORDS! EPIC! EPIC!

Soo.. Worth the $100 price tag?

 

Awesome Game... Had a glitch though that had me running around looking for a way out. The second part, when you have to fight all the thugs and head out the garage door. Yep, first run at it there was no way out.. Running around like a mad man and nothing. Ugg, thought perhaps a bug, reloaded save and wasted the peeps and then she says lets go here. Hope there no more of those down the line.:banana:

 

The DLC, More story part of it single player, worth it or not?

 

Bought it last Friday and invited a friend over to power through it in 2 days. We took our time though, finding over 100 of the collectables and choosing the stealth route whenever possible.

It's easily one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. The production values are through the roof and easily surpasses those of the MGS and Uncharted series', something I didn't think was possible. The writing is also some of the best that I've seen in a video game. And don't get me started on the animation quality. The animators for TLU achieved things that kept me in awe throughout the game. Everything is just so smooth and transitions seamlessly.

With all that being said though, I found myself wishing that it was a movie instead of a game. It's not that the combat isn't fun, because it's a very solid shooter and stealth game, it's just that the acting, animation, and graphical fidelity of the cut scenes were so well and skillfully done that it almost seemed disappointing to me when they ended and I was back to controlling the characters.

I highly, highly recommend this game. I'm not a zombie fan at all and I still couldn't stop playing. It truly is a once in a lifetime game that you'll remember for a very long time after you've put it away.

 

I think this is going to be one of those games that if you haven't played it and completed it you won't understand, I have it in my list of best games ever. Ps I completed the the game soon after it came out im going to wait a while untll I play again.

ever finish a game and felt sad it finished?

 

I think I read somewhere that another game might be made in that world but with different characters.

Also I think the acting in the game is better than most tv/films
