I dont think Ive ever gone out and taken pictures of random things, but I need to do it over the summer for my College design work... So to get used to my sisters camera I took a few just to get a feel of it, and this was my favourite...

    Nice picture rofflesyo.

Here is a new gallery that I took at Carrot Island in Beaufort, NC of the Banker Ponies. I love visiting that place and roaming amongst them in wild like that. They are so tame you can virtually go right up to them if you are careful enough. One Mare even came right up to me (about 3 feet or so) when I was taking the pictures and stared into my camera :)

Guys I must say this is my first visit to this thread. I only got interested in photography a few days ago when I started practicing at college with ours Nikon D50s (great cam). These pictures just blew me away! You all take incredible shots from the most variated enviroments and situations. I am going to take some pics of my own and show them here as well. Keep up the good work!

BTW, in reference to that earlier post on the aurora borealis, I bet that was the aurora :D! Due to the magnetic field shifting from north to south, there are spots on the world which will temporarily register as a magnetic pole and attract the solar winds and such. Therefore, it is possible and likely to see the Aurora and other events of the like around the world.
