Well Hazzard27, cards from the same manufacturer may not perform the same way. What do you mean by "not performing as it should"? Is it because you can't oc the core as much as I can?

I don't play counterstrike so I don't have a benchmark to compare with yours. Perhaps 3DMark01,03,05 and AQMark3 should be a good comparison.

One of the biggest problem I encountered before changing my GPU cooler was heat. I was getting 64-68c idle and perhaps more than 80c load. Oc'ing the card makes both the core and mem chips very hot and I would suggest better cooling if you want to oc the card.

After installing the cooler I was getting 39-40c idle and 49-50c load. Other than that, I think the performance of your rig depends very much on your mobo and rams.

Having said that, I am still puzzled at my rams because I am using Infineon ECC unregistered rams and some folks at the ABIT forum said they never should have worked.

nabelon, NV silencer is only available for PCIe versions. No AGP solutions yet.

Oh, did not see your rig details.

Not sure but you can do a search. Plenty of feedback on Zalman vs NV silencer.

With that card you should never hit 20 in cs:s. I have two rigs at the min which i am converting into a good one and a **** one. Both of them play cs:s and my second system doesnt even hit that low in cs:s.

    1st - ath64 3000+,gf 5500, 512 value ddr400.
    2nd - celeron 2.8, radeon9600,value ddr400.

What setting do you play cs:s on?

so I take it modified drivers from XG are the best, ignore all else.

Nab, for gaming just 500/1000. Those oc's are for benchmarking only.

    76.41HD is the best.

nabelon if you are running PCIe, you should have gotten the Leadtech extreme version, which clocked at 550/1120 by default, due to the 1.6ns GDDR3.

Nab, I have thought of that but they don't ship international. Maybe you can try eBay.
