Your multi core score is really low. My 3700x gets 5400 on normal PBO and the wraith prism

    I would certainly hope so considering that is a 8 core 16 thread cpu and I have a 6 core 12 thread cpu ( ◉ - ◉ )

It's the non x, just trying to make it run cooler when idle, thanks to @Webhiker it seems to be now which I'm really happy with.

Have no other system to test.

Also can't get the CPU out of the socket anymore.

Anyways, it's all packet up for RMA and i'm about to leave now to the post office.

Rebuild my 4770K yesterday and it was a relief to game again without BSODs.

    ^^ 3700X ^^ is the Best.
With EDC Bug (value 1) my CPU can go up to ~4.5GHz single core.
That is enough for gaming IMhO :D

3700X is a nice cpu. I've seen it for 250Euros thats is a great deal but coming from a 2700X or 8700K it isnt an real upgrade. Im looking at 5800X atleast to notice any difference.

According to CTR, I have a bronze sample 3700X and it's true, my sample is crap for overclocking or undervolting - I've also noticed in successive bios updates, the performance of the CPU has regressed a bit but overall it's been impressive value. Temperatures have always been good but I do see my sample CPU likes more voltage than what's been commonly reported.

Mines a bronze sample too but i dont need to overclock it

it hits 4.2 all core at stock so a overclcok of 4.3 ish isnt worth it at all

I went from an FX 8350 to a 1600 AF running at 4ghz on all cores. It is a world of difference. I may get a 3700x in the future.

I had a 4690k, more than a night and day difference for me ;)

What actually surprised me is, my 4690K was bottlenecking my R9 Fury!!!
