With all those negative reviews about performance, people must have got it because of discount and Jurassic World movie without actually reading reviews.
I have friend's playing ARK and loving it. It does look nice on max settings (from videos) but I don't know if even my system can handle it at good fps.
Cuz clearly its a collective thing, not an individual thing! People are getting Ark cuz its fun, simple as that. I got it cuz my friend pushed me to. I did get it, and got a refund 30 min later cuz it ran like a pile of poo. Recently reading about performance improvement, I got it again... and yes for me it's already worth the money I put in, it runs so much better now. I've had H1Z1 for months, but I've already put more hours in Ark having gotten it last week. Much buggier than H1Z1, worse performance compared to H1Z1, but much more fun in my opinion. Taste is subjective, not objective... lets get that right. Before judging it, try it at least... otherwise you have nothing to base your judgement on other than watching YouTube or Twitch! If you don't like it, refund it!
