Sapphire 7870 Ghz OC Bios fix for black screen

    Oh, hello there...it's a long time this post don't have visits. Anyway, i have a 7870 ghz dualx with black screen issues and maybe this will help...

    Can somebody please share the bios file? The OP link is dead :(

    you have to rename it changing the extension to .rom, after that you can use ATIFLASH to flash it (search "atiflash guide" in google, first result) or you can use atiwinflash, although I never used it.
    Always remember to do a backup of your current bios

    The filename/extension doesn't matter, Atiflash can even flash if the filename is nvidia.amd :D

    64KB seems too small for the 7870 BIOS, I still have my old BIOS from my 7870 and it's 128KB

    Probably it's just a legacy BIOS and doesn't have UEFI GOP - so with this bios you can't use Windows 8.x's (Ultra) Fast boot feature.

    Legacy bios = 64 kb
    Legacy + UEFI = 128 kb

    Hello I have the same problem with my video card. I have a Sapphire HD7870 Ghz Edition oc version.
    When I turn on the pc it gives video but at the moment that it starts windows when it loads the desktop it gives the black screen.
    The bios link is broken, could someone re-upload it?

    I put the video card in another pc and GPUz gave me this
