Enhanced sync is broken with the current drivers it will only introduce another issues.

Freesync is the only one that can remedy the problem. With amd you dont need to use it in combination with vsync, works best by itself with lowest input lag and no tearing.

first, Freesync is not an option for him or me because our TV´s don´t support it

second, please do not tell that its broken without trying it. I played CP2077 just yesterday with the 21.5.2 Driver and Enhanced Sync works just fine and im limiting to 60 FPS ingame

it might not work perfect for all games but usually it does

Try to use CRU and set some working resolutions.
Then You should be able to use FreeSync NP (with TV ;)) thus leads to sliky smooth gameplay.
    Then You'll be happy :D

So i tried that enhanced sync on + chill with 120fps lock (strangely it fixing 119fps lol) and no, guys, its bad, i mean really bad, its microstutters constantly. But i found what cause my problem with v-sync - a focking amd display driver. Yeah, yeah, welcome to amd club. So the latest driver without that issue is Adrenalin 2020 Edition 21.2.3. V-sync works flawlessly like on nvidia card. Looks like i will stick to that driver forever lol.

Can you disable vsync and see if the stutter is still there?

Try a benchmark like 3DMark, Heaven, and see if you still get stutters. Also please list your entire system specs as something else might be the issue.

Its not stutter it drops fps in constant period of time cuz v-sync is broken in new drivers, old ones works flawless.

I use vysnc as well for single player games and it works perfectly fine in the latest drivers. I do have a freesync monitor though but its best to use it in conjunction with vsync for no tearing. Even if you enable a frame limiter below the refresh rate of your monitor you can still get tearing in the top and bottom portions of the screen so vsync is needed to prevent this.

Could you not try and older driver then if its broken in the latest for you?

Thank you for posting this, I just got a 6900XT as well and was noticing a 5-10 frame drop about every 2 minutes and my search brought me here. Rolling back to the 21.2.3 driver also fixed it for me and I've made a bug report to AMD.

I had a similar issue with My TV , sometimes play on it. With HDR on I had to get a proper HDMI cable for it, Really good quality one .

Its not a software problem and not a hardware problem, lock your frames to the TV max refresh for the resolution or you will run into problems , its not a monitor. Use a quality cable.

Sometimes no luck with drivers. I had my feeling that the newest driver kind of ****** up my 240hz HDR with G9 too.

I love it actually. Now that they have fixed everything they need to with firmware patches. Quality wise I got a good one no issues with glue or anything like that. Freesync works as intended. HDR is a bit of a gimmick on this one but works ok.
