Windows 8.1 or higher is required.

    RTSS writing corrupt

    Hi,

Anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?

    I've been through;

    - All the settings / fonts etc in RTSS (vector / raster)
    - Previous and current revision

It works fine (as in refreshing, position, size, colour) in all 3D windows but randomly it's as if the previous text before a refresh is left behind, and this the new text overlaps it. A few seconds later it looks fine again.

    On Win 10 with a Geforce 860M.

Overlapping OSD text can be seen when 3D application is presenting new frame without re-rendering whole framebuffer.

    Cheers Unwinder.

Are there any of the Nvidia control panel settings that might affect this I could try?

No, it is entirely up to implementation of specific 3D application. You cannot use control panel to change application rendering behaviors.

That's unfortunate as it's across the board on every game I have tried.....

I have absolutely nothing to add to what I said above. Not going to debate about it, sorry.

No need for apologies Unwinder, you answered my question, anything I find as I dig into this I'll note on here to help others :)

Would it be possible to add if gsync is currently active? The nvidia drivers already have this ability but the overlay they create is gigantic and unsightly.

    Hello!

    Today I got this error:

And OSD does not work, tried fresh install, tired windows restore and nothing helps... works on my G15 keyboard but not on display... Any ideas what happened?

It's running in an AV sandbox. Add an exception for it to your antivirus program. (It's been discussed here before.)

I did, but it doesn't work... I found something about AV blocking it, but the user said it didn't work for him too...

Maybe you have added an exception only to the list of monitored files and not to the list of running processes, too?

Maybe use "RTSS.exe" instead of "RTSS"?

EDIT: Also, you may want to add "RTSSHooksLoader64.exe" - it's another process that's running for me.

EDIT: bah... I reinstalled Nvidia drivers and now it works... I don't know what could happened over night with drivers :3eyes:

    Thanks for the help anyway!

New Battleye update now blocks RTSS from working in ARMA 3.

    I'm using version 6.4.1

    Thanks in advance.
