what i have learned from this driver. It will pass 3dmark stress test at previous clocks of 1460mhz all day but im lucky if 1400mhz is stable in wolf2. Maybe its just a vulkan thing but the driver is ok once you lower the overclock enough And never open wattman. Wattman will set the clocks to by itself to almost 1500mhz and of course it will crash pretty fast. If it weren't for RTSS i would not have known just WTF the silly driver was doing. So i can use this in Wolf2 as long as i use close to No overclock and Afterburner instead of wattman. frack it at least i can play the dam game now lol

I am able to use freesync again with custom resolutions. Before freesync would be broke if I tried to run 2560x1080 80hz. 75hz worked. And I ran 3440x1400 80hz it wouldnt work. Freesync would act like I didnt have a freesync monitor.
Now I am running both of those res and 30-80hz freesync range on my 21:9.

Really wish enhanced sync was enabled on R9 Fury's. But Im gonna be snagging 1 or 2 Vega 56 in Jan 2018. If I get a 1600x, then it will just be 1 Vega 56.

After some testing I found out that Enhanced Sync is not match for FreeSync. with FreeSync everything is butter smooth while Enhanced Sync is not, Enhanced Sync work best in some Online Games.

On the good side, you can just set AB to apply the OC on startup, and don't bother again with Wattman even after changing drivers. I've been doing that since Crimson came out.
For Wolf2, you can create a lower OC on another profile, and enable a shortcut for it.

About Enhanced Sync. I have Freesync :D

HD7870&FX6300 runs fine in gta4 on RX 580 not, and not the other way around :) And that's the only game that have performance issue. With RX 580 upgrade all the games got 2x and more performance boost. And this was tested under Win7 & W10 with HD7870 & RX 580. First drivers for rx580, gta4 stuttered like hell, reported it, doesn't stutter anymore(thanks AMD!) but poor performance remains, it is on driver level.

Congrats, and on the 4gig card :D. No really I saw Freesync in action it's great and i wish i had it in my gaming years.

I'm getting much higher scores in Superposition benchmark.
Just got 5110 in 1080p Extreme, where I was struggling at ~4600 before.
and i'm at slightly lower clocks than before (~40MHz).

edit : No problems with it so far though. 17.11.1 looks ok for me, have latest Win update also.

Try "disable fullscreen optimizations" at compatibility tab, that worked for me.

Even with my product listed on AMD site i can't install this driver.
    Desktop.
    AMD A-Series APUs with Radeon™ R4, R5, R6, or R7 Graphics.

Installer tells me that i don't have a compatible product.

These drivers are bad imo. In all the games I've played with them (cod ww2, diablo 3, overwatch) the game runs for 20-30 minutes or so until the screen goes black and a few seconds after, the entire system freezes. Then after a few seconds, the PC restarts on its own, giving me no error messages or BSOD's. I thought it was an OC issue but even with stock speeds the same stuff happens.

Went back to 17.9.3. All the 17.1x.x drivers either give me freesync issues or these weird freezing now, idk why.

17.11.1 isn't suitable for gaming either (at least not with my setup) and I've already had two random blur screens in Project Cars 2 and a few game freezes in Call of Duty: WWII.

Since 17.10.2 and onward (including this one) I get this crazy arse issue where while on the sign-in screen (windows) the monitor will lose signal and go into power-save then come back on repeatedly until I can get signed-in. For the life of me I cannot figure out why. So long as I stay on 17.10.1 that issue does not exist.

Yeah, I do. It crashes with DirectX error. At first, not so often, but after few missions (I have to destroy that train now) it crashes every 3-4 minutes. Tried older drivers, either I also get DX error, or it just restarts my PC (that it does with 17.9.1 - 17.9.3).
