Nice to see lots of AMD rigs, thanks for sharing. Corsair 750D. Nice case, quite spacious, but I'm going to swap it out for a Phanteks Enthoo Primo soon.
I don't think you're really in the position to tell him what his job role is, that's on AMD themselves. That said, considering he's here for PR this is exactly the sort of thread he's here for. Beating a dead horse in driver threads when he probably doesn't have the information to give isn't productive for anyone. Nice images guys, love those multi-gpu monsters.
I've gotten rid of the AMD Cards due to performance issues. but heres what it looked like with the AMD cards...
Here is my rig. A bit dusty. Going to clean it out when upgrading next month with new GPU's (hopefully.. come on AMD! Release the 390x) and a new case.
Got tired of waiting for Kraken G10 restock, zip tied and never looked back...1.5 years later and still trouble free with excellent temps and with the noctuas running at constant medium RPM resulting in the same quiet noise profile regardless of a heavy gaming session or web browsing. 4 Year old Sandy-Vertex 3 still kicking strong.
It's very good PR for a representative to show what he uses and to ask others to show theirs. I see nothing wrong with it.
One of those rare instances when i used to run benchmarks with the hardware at subsero temperatures and was able to take pictures , no time for cute pictures when benching lol . CrossFire X Quadfire - 4x 290X on chilled water flying at 1265/1625Mhz , cpu 4930k at 5230Mhz on a 2 Stage Cascade Phase Change unit. ohh good old times
^^ Nice Chispy!! What water chiller was you using? Or was you running some custom built one. Been looking at some Hailea water chillers, be fun to have some GPUs chilled at least while I have a CPU under Phase
Thank you. Custom built water-chiller. yes Matt those were fun times for me , i have retired from subsero overclocking for close to 2 years now due to the high cost of Liquid nitrogen and electricity , now i only run custom H2O cooling on my rigs.
Creating great hardware, and drivers to match, is much better PR. Posting here, where only a very small group of potential customers is reached, is nothing but useless from a PR point of view. P.S. not posting a pic. I don't think ppl have interest in seeing my dusty box
You do realize this thread been viewed almost 1700 times already and its only been a couple days...and the people that view this thread are very likely to purchase new amd cards (if they can afford it).....and who knows how many web sites...heck its free hype for the new cards fixing to drop
How many of those views are new individuals? Ppl who post in a topic come back. Those are also within the 1700. You do realize we live with a few BILLION ppl on this planet right? A few thousand is nothing.
