lol it could be but look at my pc specs...I know that the graphic card is not the

best but i can play several games at 25/35fps... maybe ill buy more 512MB RAM,

and a graphic card, maybe ATI X1600PRO (198.90 €) , but for this one i will also

need a new motherboard, which i can get with pci Express slot for about more

50€. Then ill make a test

Well. You will all tremble before my amazing score!

    701 3D Marks!
    919 CPU Marks!
    less than 350 SM2 Marks!
    less than 200 SM3 Marks!

This is with my A64 3400+ 2.4 GHz
    BFG Geforce 6600 GT @ 565/1050 AGP
    1.5 GB PC3200 RAM
    400Watt PSU

This is fuucking pathetic and what makes it even more weird is that I still get well over 3600 in 3DMark05 and well over 8200 in 3DMark03! It Makes No Sense!

you should be able to pick up a 6800gs or an x850xt for that money. at least, those cards are within budget in german shops, i dont know anything about prices in portugal.

06 just owns computers. If your real-world usage is good then don't worry about it. If your computer is not working well, then you should clean it up. Your hardware seems fine.

:) thanks but maybe I should get more 512MB RAM. I use LightWave (ed

modeling ) and when i open big things the comp slows down. And about dayli usage, sometimes it slows.:frown:

That's pretty strange that my laptop with the 6600 G0 beats out your desktop system!

XFX GeForce 6800 GS (256 MB DDR3 8X AGP) price in portugal is 255€ I think it's a great choice!

Yes it is strange! The only real technology thing that most other users have that I don't is a Dual-Channel memory setup and I HIGHLY doubt that that is what is making me score about 1000 points less than I should be.

2gig ram instead of 1.5gig, and im pretty sure that his ram runs single channel. that makes a good difference

Yes, but this is talking about my 6600 GT vs. his 6600 Go for his laptop. I should be getting more close to 1600 at least, nonetheless lower than 700.

I don't think that's his only problem. I get better scores across the board with my 7800GT.:speed:

Something's wrong there... with that rig, especially ur CPU, u should be scoring 1800+ without a sweat.
