nVidia has talked about deprecating SLI support for 3090 though the card will be having a SLI bridge configuration available.. what do they mean by this?

    Am talking about this:
    https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5082

But the 3090 supports NVLink in hardware, was wondering if Nvidia Inspector profiles can be still be forced for old games ..

Because if they were only targeting explicit DX12 mGPU why would they support NVLink in hardware, am confused

I don't believe that it's Inspector that's broken, the older frame limiter functions have evidently been deprecated from the driver code.

V1 and V2 are no supported by the driver, waiting on @Orbmu2k to update.

Well that sucks, cuz V3 doesn't work on games below DX9, nor does RTSS.

RTSS framelimit works on D3D8, D3Dim and DDraw,
unsure why it doesn't work for you.

I have noted some compatibility issues though, where the game won't launch (i believe due to dllmain shenanigans)

Maybe it's time to use dgVoodoo for some old D3D games?

V3 is V1, although there is a slight difference in the additional options.

    You can still use V2:
    • Export profiles in text format
    • Add this string to the desired profile
      Code:
      Setting ID_0x10834fff = 0x00000020 UserSpecified=true
    • Import profiles

I just checked, and yes, you can successfully import profiles that still include references to V1 and V2, but those lines will be ignored by the current driver, and they won't show up as being set in Profile Inspector.

Even if lines don't appear highlighted in Profile Inspector, this does not mean that they are ignored by the driver.
Here's an example with a DirectX 7 dolphin:
    • V3 does not work, as expected with DirectX 7

    • V2 works, although it does not show up in Profile Inspector as "Frame Rate Limiter Mode" — "Limiter V2 - Allow All" after importing profiles

Was running fine yesterday, but today when i first time opened the software, i got an error, some net framework stuff, then no profiles show anymore.
    xml error (0, 0).

Obs: Getting the error only on the new versions, old ones are still fine.
