Well my new gpu is on its way, a big BIG thank you to Webhiker, really appreciate it:thumbup:

But now Im really scarred to install r331.xx drivers again.

I've been installing nv drivers for a long loong time since ~ GF6600GT onwards and yeah I never feared to install a driver, until now :frown:

 

Lol .. just a coincidence. Your card was getting old after all .. even one of my 460's artifacted 6 months ago. I've been installing Nv drivers since they were called Detonator and were only 10-20 MB .. huehue .. imma old bitch

old,.. well it was build to last. My older 250GTS lasted longer (sold) and Oc'ed that too, more then this 570.
I meant when i returned back to nv.. My first real gpu was rivatnt2 lol, before that some fake 1mb gpu



Edit:The only issue by me was I had a corrupted driver. Unstable OC by BF4 corrupted it, happened before by BF3 - directx error and it goes away if I reinstall it again.
But I fool completely forgot about it and didnt.

Lesson learned.


If any of you get directx error while OC'ing in Bf3, 4, etc and I saw quite a few time to time, reinstall the driver asap or you might suffer the same issue..
And I stand corrected it can be any driver, not this particular 331.93.

Driver corruption can be very dangerous, beware. :nerd:


But then again this newer r331 branch is a bit questionable.., I saw another user with 480gtx having very similar issue.

You do not understand. That's not a positive feedback for developer. It's an empty post if user says: "Everything is alright!" when majority has such issue

for some of us the driver threads are our only avenue of access to the NVidia outreach boys.
