yep, almost makes you think they're slowly hiding back performance on older parts to make users want to upgrade to the newer parts...

consumers should watch nvidia like a hawk.

you're saying that in a thread that improves performance on "older parts" you know.

Cheers. I'll report back tomorrow after playing some TW3. Gotta go to bed now.

One little thing I noticed after installing:

I had the same thing with the previous driver but it was Sony Vegas Pro (I think) instead of Action Henk.

Though on the 347.XX drivers and before it was never there.

+7FPS here, even if i had to lower my core overclock, because of artifacts, while before it was stable at same frequence:1346/7000. Now i'm on 1320/7000

I can confirm, I've very impressed:

Before driver update in Witcher 3 -
55 max FPS, with really bad dips constantly to 30-40 and averaging around 45-50 fps.
after driver update in Witcher 3 -
60 almost stable, occasional dips to 55 but much more stable almost locked at 60.

So it may work for more heavy games in the future, I bloody hope it does considering how close to unplayable my Witcher 3 was before this update.

Poor performance in farcry 3 on my gtx690...when I say poor I mean bordering on unplayable with the same game settings.

I'm running at 2715x1527. I've uploaded 3 images so that you can see. You'll find them here: http://imgur.com/a/7KOnw

I really have no complaints about performance, even before this new driver, although with the new one, I seem to be able to push it a little more. Before this driver, I turned grass density and foliage distance down to High. Also manually tweaked the shadows to stop them from drawing right in front of my face.

wtf, i don't know what I'm doing wrong then...I'm not getting anywhere near those numbers and I have shadows to high and foliage distance to high.

I don't have an overlay of any kind to be able to get the actual numbers but I know 60 fps when I see it...and I'm not seeing it

Do you run with HairWorks on? Or are shadows and foliage distance the only 2 settings you've lowered?

    I have hairworks completely off

I don't know if it's of note but I am running Gsync as well

I also have Depth of Field off and Motion Blur off because I just don't like those features

Nope. Use windows 10 driver for now. manuelg was asked like 7 times in different threads and on twitter and he completely ignored the question about any future "kepler-fix" win 10 drivers.

Are the driver crashes when using a web browser solved?

I think the best thing to do would be to install MSI Afterburner and RTSS so that you can at least get some idea of what's going on. Maybe you didn't re-enable SLI after installing the new drivers?

Having some monitoring software will give you (and us, actually) a much clearer picture. Your cards shouldn't be struggling with this game, especially at 1080p or 1440p.

exactly, and if people didnt have 10+ page threads complaining about it this "performance improvements" would've never been done.

Even nvidia says that the feedback "helped them find the issue"
