New Benchmark Leak Reveals Ryzen 3 3000U Radeon Vega Mobile series

EDIT: I have a Ryzen 5 2500U - Vega 8 in my Huawei Matebook D (Raven Ridge Zen+ 14nm)

Benched it as a baseline to see roughly how much AMD has improved over the previous gen just with 14nm R5 3500U (was a little surprised)

• Huawei Matebook D, Ryzen 5 2500U: 9485 multi-core score
• HP Laptop 17-ca1xxx, Ryzen 5 3500U: 11284 multi-core score

Well more specifically, it means no 7nm for mobile APUs.

 

No 7nm yet....keep the faith boys.

 

With 7nm CPU cores, AMD could squeeze in more Vega cores, both space-wise and power budget-wise. I mean something like Vega 16 or 18, would pack quite a punch (for an APU). But that's just theory.

 

Maybe 7nm for the Ryzen 7 with extra Vega there's gonna some cheap powerful laptops soon

 

If they start putting those cpu in more “mainstream” laptops, I’ll buy one for sure

 

Me too, it would be my 1st always saw a laptop as too much of a compromise or too expensive for descent specs, if amd get these out at these prices the market is gonna change big time... Now if they can something about ddr4 prices
