    7950 3 gig dead!
While playing Rainbow six siege the pc died. Thought the power went out but I couldn't turn it back on. So I pulled the powercolor 7950 3 gig and it booted. So now I need a new video card. I'm debating the msi rx 480 gaming x. I was also told to look at 1050ti 4 gig and 1060. I play 1080p and here are my specs.

    AMD 8350 at 4.3ghz
    Gigabyte ud3 mobo
    16 gig DDR 3 1600 mhz
    Corsair Hx 750 watt PSU

I trust this forum and I'm on a budget. Msi rx 480 gaming x is on sale.

Yes go for it , RX 480 will be a nice upgrade if you play at 1080p , i would suggest find the cheapest one RX 480 and grab it asap. Don't get 1050Ti nor 1060 3GB as both are not worth it in the long run.

Hi I have the RX 480 4GB sapphire nitro.
    I clock it stable @ 1375 / 2000 no extra voltage.
    I game @ 1080.
The only game I have that's needs more than 4GB of frame buffer when set to ultra is: Rise of the Tomb Raider. All others games I have 2016 from GTA5 to Doom etc suck about 3.6GB. Step back a little on TR eyecandy to free up frame buffer and its full 60fps.

    RX 480 4GB

Or a cheap used 970 is also good.
But I would just get the 480.

But hey, don't buy anything yet.

Put your 7950 in the oven for 12 minutes at 180degrees celcius.
Take it apart first though, leave no plastic on the PCB :)
    and that might fix it.

I have revived at least 30+ GPU's this way.

Though I reckon yours is less than 40% chance, but ey...
