you will be scarred for life by watching some of these films takashi miike's films come to mind =) and look for the favorite movies of Eli Roth. the director of hostel. august underground is eVIL!!
Just read a review of August Underground. One has to wonder how far people are willing to take these movies, and of there is some hidden psychotic personality hidden in the "director" I wouldn't watch that movie, and in all honesty, i don't think there in any place in a civilized world for pictures like that
AntiChrist. With William Dafoe. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0870984/ I will also vote for Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073650/ Eden Lake also.
Yeah Antichrist was a disturbing movie. Lost Highway is another one, spine tingling from start to finish. This man has the potential to give you mightmares: Gary Busey's in it too, so that's always a plus!
Just watched Irréversible, and yep; you can safely add that to the list of 'evil' movies (although I feel quite desensitized towards these kinds of films after seeing so many of them when I was young and adventurous).
I liked "REC" the original Spanish one though not the American rip off (qurantine), starts off quite daft with the zombie like victims biting each other but at the end it's very chilling and spooky. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1038988/
i somehow never had the opportunity to watch the spanish version. Really pissed me off cos i couldn't find it online. I hear the female lead in Rec is much hotter than the one in the american version. The gal whom also acted in exorcist of emily hill.
I'd call REC a good horror film but not EVIL... yes the reporter in the original REC is hot hot hot :nerd:
Ichi the Killer was awesome, twisted yes, but I'm not sure I would describe it as evil. Before I saw the film I always assumed Ichi was the guy on the cover, turns out he was someone completely different!
Grudge 1 im sure most of u didnt effected by it but in my şfe , first time i wanted to get out from the saloon of the cinema..and most of the watcher left in the half of the movie..so disturbing for me.
Ichi The Killer.. Yes, forgot about that one, although one could argue that the flick was kind of tongue-in-cheek at parts (no pun intended, haha) and didn't really take itself seriously. Then again, that may or may not make it all the more disturbing considering its questionable content. PS: Another twisted one (albeit quite "good" if you don't mind gore) is Haute Tension (High Tension / Switchblade Romance); it's reminiscent of Wolf Creek at parts, though tons better of course, being French.. Not sure if it's "evil" though -- quite standard ketchup-spilling flick bar the great execution (once again no pun intended) and chilling plot twist at the end.
LOL ichi the killer was quite nice but pretty comical. Yeah there was blood and gore but still it was pretty funny. It's ironic that the person on the front cover isn't ichi but it's Tadanobu Asano. He has appeared in a few good movies i think he's considered like maybe an A list actor in the jap film industry. The movie also starred paulyn sun from my country. Was a former miss singapore universe too.
Hills have eyes. That movie is just weird and appalling to say the least. Never quite figured it out and it was disturbing at times.
